Room - stayed premier plus here, room was OK definitely not the cleanest with multiple marks on the bed and floor. Reception staff were lovely.
Restaurant- the worst premier inn restaurant service I?ve ever seen. Very unclean with clearly dirty cutlery and glasses, took 5 minutes to be noticed and seated and then 15 minutes to have my order taken. Very basic order took 20 minutes to come out ( breakfast). Wait staff seemed to not have a clue and I watched one waiter spill someone?s cup of tea whilst walking past and say ?oh it?s ok? as if the customer was at fault. Never been more frustrated in a restaurant and could see a lot of annoyed faces around the place.

Everything is a bit worn and the bathtub with a plastic curtain is no longer up to date. The attached restaurant makes a good breakfast, I can't recommend anything more. Service in the evening was listless, a small, poor menu and seemed like ready meals to me. There was an annoying humming noise in the room as if the fan was stuck.

Lady on reception was absolutely brilliant and so helpful! Overall hotel is ok, I would love if roomkeeping service would pay more attention to bathroom cleaning. Unfortunately my hairdryer was temperamental but overall I would say one of nicest expieriences staying in Premier ins

A Premier Inn to avoid. Wifi is basically non existent through the 2 day stay. Useless for a business stay. Restaurant closed on first night and 2nd night door staff telling customers to go back to reception to book before seating them when basically empty. Avoid.
Food and drinks: Useless restaurant, luckily a Tesco over the road.

Needs a refresh. Typical Premier Inn room. Carpet was dirty, Desk Vinyl covering was peeled away in places. Bathroom had chipped tiles and mould in places.
Beefeater now closed. Chef didn't turn up one morning so no cooked breakfast.

Love this hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good free parking. On bus route to town for connections to Brixham, Paignton and Torquay. Bus opposite hotel to Dawlish, Teignmouth and Exeter. Excellent location overlooking Newton Abbot racecourse.

Premium rooms very good. Sented air in corridor, loved the bathroom with rain shower and loved the bergamot & lavender body wash. Plenty of mirrors, lots of beverage choice including Nespresso machine & pods. Comfy bed and pillow choice.
Booked for breakfast, service was good and staff worked hard, but, with only 1 chef it took an hour to get our cooked breakfast even though we booked well in advance the staffing ratio seemed wrong some how and some people left after getting fed up waiting. Might have booked in for evening meal but didn't seem to be open. Perhaps Beefeater may lease out its restaurants as they certainly need more TLC to keep them running which the chain isn't offering in the present climate.

It was a comfortable stay for a night. Could do with a small refurb as it is looking quiet old hotel. Clean and great staff.
Nearby activities: ? track and many fitness facilities

Stayed at this hotel, for 2 nights with our family. Can honestly say this is by far, the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in, in my 60+years !
The rooms were tired, as was the whole establishment. My Grandsons towel was dirty, looked like dry blood. The restaurant ( not even sure I can call it that) was shabby, stained, ripped seats, and very little beer on tap as they were all empty.
We had booked breakfast for us all with the grandchildren, only to be told that the restaurant was closed as we made our way down that morning, bearing in mind that all breakfasts had to be paid for in advance. Apparently a gas leak, which I find incredibly hard to believe, as I stated to the duty manager, surely you would ensure the safety of all guests, by evacuating the hotel until it had been inspected. The staff still insisted on this story, which I find extremely disgusting, when you see a beer keg delivery at that time!!!
When we went to reception to complain about the catalogue of events, we are greeted with " all I can say is we sympathise" . You will be refunded for breakfasts but it will take 3-5 days!!.
As a person who has worked in hotels, hospitality, and with a wealth of customer service skills, I am appalled and bitterly disappointed in the whole experience of this Premier Inn.
I would never stop there again and advise others to think twice before booking!

Love Premier Inn hotels. But we went for full breakfast this morning and was tolled the chef didn't turn up for work so no cooked breakfast. You would think a big chain would have back up but didn't. Very disappointed as I stay at the chain alot.
