Never open when you need them. Their opening times don?t help the working person. I work 8-4 and they close the post office at 3:30 how if that fair. Being a teacher I can?t leave the children to go to the post office. They are not helpful for locals or the working class

Great little village shop. Having a Post Office is a real bonus but what I love is that they support their own local farms and suppliers. Milk, Cheese, meat, chocolate and herbal teas.

The Aveton Gifford Village Shop was funded by the village community when the last shop in the village closed, and is a great example of what can be achieved when we all work together. The kindness and hospitality shown to a bunch of cyclists was warm and inviting. We stopped for cakes and coffee on our RNLI adventure to South Devon. Situated between Ivybridge and Salcombe, the village is an a fabulous part of a very picturesque county.

A few good products and never a queue at the post office counter.
