Massive thank you to the maintenance team today (Ross and Kia) for getting my tv up on the wall at such short notice. I?m down after a hip replacement and really needed the support. Really friendly and the entire team are always supportive.

Went here for 5 days , lovely clean caravan, all fully equipped . Right next to the bay, lovely beach, great for surfing and swimming. Nice large indoor heated pool with child?s area. The entertainment was brilliant, Tommy and Mr Joe were super hosts and extremely talented, they really made the evening a success. There is also a little fish and chip shop and great restaurant on site with a fully stocked shop across the road. We will definitely go again next summer

Just returned from the most perfect week at challaborough bay. Park is clean and the beach was just lovely in the sun that we had that week, a little picnic and a book what more could you want on a chilled out holiday. The staff were all so lovely throughout our stay, any questions we had were always answered. We had trouble turning on our heating one day and a lovely gent called Stuart and his a colleague Kia helped us to what button to press to enable this so thank you. We had a meal down in the waterfront restaurant on site which again has an amazing sea view!! We had the half roast chicken which my husband said he highly recommends and I opted for the gammon which was tasty and just enough for me to finish off. They also serve costa coffee which is my favourite so very happy about that. Will defiantly book for next year I think the grandchildren would also appreciate what the park has to offer. Many thanks challaborough bay

The caravan was very neat and tidy on arrival. It had a lovely few of the beach and was walking distance to everything on the holiday park. The staff were all friendly and very helpful, as well as the evening entertainment. Would definitely recommend and will be returning

Beautiful stay. Accommodation was spotless and beds very comfortable. Had a slight issue with remote for television but Jamie from maintenance fixed efficiently. Entertainment was something for everyone and the beach is simply perfect. We will 100% be returning! :)

Our caravan was spotless on, had no issues with the caravan itself however the televisions wouldn?t turn on. Made one quick phone call and a chap called James came and fixed it within 5 minutes. He was extremely well mannered and helpful and had the issue sorted in no time, he even suggested some activities around the park for our afternoon (which we went to and had an amazing time). Brilliant location and a short walk to the beach, highly recommend.

Had a lovely little getaway for the weekend in a spotless caravan. Lots of useful and brand new amenities and was pleasantly surprised by a heated pool. Had a little issue with maintenance however it was quickly resolved. Have already booked our next stay. 10/10 would highly recommend.

This is going to be a long one, but thorough! We're a family of 4, with a 7 month old and 5 year old. We booked a week at Challaborough Bay (3rd June - 10) and a week at Newquay Parkdean one after another. Before arriving we felt a little disheartened after 1) hearing about the hair raising drive into the park on roads that can only fit one car width on and so meant we were less likely to leave the site to explore rather than endure the drive (this ended up being true) . 2) the beaches in Cornwall looked much nicer than Devon. 3) it looks very hilly and with a baby in a pram, I wasn't thrilled about potentially walking up and down hills all day. How wrong we were! We arrived just before check in and was allocated Seashore 20. Closest area to the beach and bar, right next to a little river and bridge, surrounded by lush hills with sheep, right next to the car park. No hills on the walk to and from the main areas. Perfect. Our caravan was smaller than we're used to but immaculate. We did have a problem with our shower thar we didn't notice until the evening, but was fixed quickly the next morning and reception were really helpful. We liked that even though we were not at the caravan the day the shower was fixed, a note was left by maintenance to say what was wrong and what they did to fix it. Great communication. The grounds are beautiful. Lawns well kept, hills either side of the bay. The beach is gorgeous. And this is what captured our hearts. The sea breeze made the mini heatwave bearable and it's so nice to have such a lovely beach right on the doorstep. The views just phenomenal! Whether the tide is in or out, the kids can still play on it. The river runs through the park and onto the beach, into the sea. Which gave our little boy hours of fun and challenges with his new friends, creating new pathways for the water to run and blocking any existing ones. Even fully grown men enjoyed this game! ? The water is so clear. The rock pools are fab to explore. Beach is mostly sand with small pebbles and the most strange, razor thin rocks than have chipped from the cliffs. It's wonderful. There are coastal paths either side of the beach which lead up some steep hills. I walked up towards Bigbury with the pram and was fine. Didn't take long at all... 15 mins there. You can get to Burgh island from there when tide is out. The restaurant on sight is nice. We ate an evening meal there once and was lovely. Had some lunch a few times and loved sitting outside overlooking the sea. The Rattler cider is yum! The fish and chippery was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised! Entertainment... The facilities could do with updating compared to other parkdean sites. The pool is very plain and the jacuzzi was not working. But the staff are great. They offer some things for children, my son did the inflatajets and loved it. He also did football... Both with Mac and Mason who are great with the kids. There's a smallish play area but still good, a shop, arcade Ave soft play and a laundrette. Again, could all do with money being put in to them. Nothing wrong with them, just not up to standard of other parks like Newquay. But that's nothing to do with the park, more on parkdean for not noticing the potential. Everything is kept clean. There's less for kids to do here too in comparison, but you do have the beach. The staff at this resort make it what it is. They're there to create the best memories. My kid was OBSESSED WITH with Tommie. (And so was my partner!) ?he's absolutely hilarious. Very funny, and a talented dancer and actor! When he presents the shows, he always has the adults in mind and the kids feed off of his energy. He's a gem. Anthony, again, wonderful with the kids and so friendly. He always took the time to chat to people. Laura and Joe, also friendly faces! We're how at Newquay. And although it's much more modern with zip wires, bungee jumps, Bear Grylls forest fun and loads more... In all honestly, we just wish we were (in my 5 year olds words) "back a
