THE ONLY PLACE to purchase your new caravan / motor home if you are after quality customer service (both sales and aftersales). After a terrible experience with another company located in Bicester, this team helped us with a significant warranty issue on our 4 year old Elddis van AND we are now the proud owners of a brand new Bailey - which in our view is a much more superior product. The whole team at Stowfords Leisure were a pleasure to deal with, we were dazzled by the whole experience and will now only deal with this company in the future - both in respect of new vehicles and after sales servicing and care. Thank you Tom and Team - you have been awesome ! The whole family is SO delighted with their new holiday home by the sea :)

Give these five stars, had we just had a look round, but going round, it looks really nice. Nice views of the country side, and not from Ilfracombe. Its works out more than we wanted to pay, for next year. But you are paying for a nice site, and views.

Booked last year, we had a good week. Had one or two problems staff was very good and sorted it out.Moved us to field 5 in which we liked , so we rebooked for field 5 again. We stated this for August 2023 .But realized it was booked in the wrong field this year .Field one , they booked not 5 . They thought it was field 1 . So reception had us pay £100 more pay more money to go into field 5 for the holiday.., where we did stay this year . We had been moved into last year again . So it was their fault. So please check this before you pay . Spoke to the staff in reception they didn't want to listen to me and said it's my fault they messy up. So it was the customer's fault, not there's.

This was our second year staying at Stowford Village. We camped in Field 3 last year and Field 2 this year. On both occasions the staff have been friendly and helpful. The pitch on both occasions was large with easily accessible electric hook up. The toilets and showers were cleaned very well and regularly. We particularly noticed this on this stay, as the weather was very wet, with mud and grass cuttings getting dragged into the toilet and shower facilities. This was always cleaned up very quickly, with the cleaning staff a credit to the site. The site is located inland, so you have a 10 to 20 minute drive to the beaches in the area, but it is a good base to access the local attractions. We used the indoor swimming pool and again this was clean and well maintained, with the water temperature nice and warm - good for the young children. The site shop is well stocked, with fresh produce available along with all those other bits and pieces that you might forget to pack. Value wasn't too bad either. We used the bar a couple of times and the drinks were reasonably priced. They have different catering vans coming onto a field which gives you a good selection of food, from wood fired pizza to Caribbean dishes, throughout the week. All the food we had from those was excellent. Regarding food on the site the only minor criticism were the pizza's from the shop weren't great. Despite the poor weather, we had a great stay and will definitely book in at Stowford Village again.

Stayed for a couple of nights over the weekend and had a great time. Our pitch was nice and flat for our tent. We stayed in field 5 and both the male and female toilets/showers were kept spotless considering it was terrible weather so was quite grassy and muddy around the site. The swimming pool was nice but a shame you have to pay extra for only a 1 hour slot. The bar/entertainment was ok but definitely needs some updating. Facilities were good, shop, chip shop, cafe etc. The animal area was pretty chaotic with lots of different animals running around but it was enjoyable and you can see they are well cared for. Overall enjoyed our visit.

We allocated the Skylark cottage for ourselves and family, at first we were a little concerned about going as a previous traveler had given it a bad review. We contacted Teresa at the site who assured us all was good plus sent some pictures to put our mind at ease. When we arrived the cottage was exceptionally good with all beds made plus it was spotless, loads of extras had been left for us with the scones including jam etc was a nice touch and the jar of flowers great.we didn?t need to go out to shop straight the way as we had bought a few bits and site left essentials. Problem with hot tub when we arrived because the previous occupants hadn?t said anything but it was quickly put right being enjoyed by us all about 5 times each day. Everything on the site plus cottage was absolutely first class and please do not be deterred by people?s negative comments! We had a great time and are sure you will do also.

We stayed for a week in the cottages in skylark, On arrival there was many issues 1 The WiFi wasn?t working and they have site issues we wasn?t informed of this my children has high additional needs and internet is a must. Also no signal at all on site works for a few works then stops for 18 hours 2 due to no signal Tesco could not reach us to tell us no food delivery?s could deliver on site so have to meet them at the top of the road. So had to buy a full 200 shop at a local Tesco. Apparently there local shop can do a weekly shop. It definitely can?t and them prices I?d need 500 pound. Tried to then get a take away again not aloud due to a pub on site which is run down needs an uplift and food didn?t look great Hoeseasons didn?t know this also 3 The floorboard creek so loud upstairs it wakes the kids up and I mean it?s loud that goes into there room from our room 4 flys around the hot tub bushes by the fence needs cutting down. 5 The back gate had a padlock only for the hot tub men from the outside were not allow to access this so if you?re disabled and there?s a fire in the kitchen you?re basically screwed. Also maintenance men check the gate late at night I was in the hot tub with my wife and was pretty intimidating. The good things was the park and swimming which was dead This definitely isn?t a luxury cottage. Spoken to the site loads no help at all. Since it?s been taken over by this new company many staff are unhappy on site giving bad vibes. I?d never return here to this site but we spent all day out so had a amazing time other then the stay and on site. I?ve made a formal complaint with hoseasons as I refuse to pay what we paid for a week here.

Lovely clean site with on site park and bar/restaurant. Need a car to visit nearby place such as Ilfracombe and the Wildlife and Dinosaur park. Nice clean and tidy site, well kept. Easy to find and peaceful site. Nice park and outdoor spaces. Woodland walk we didn't do but would imagine it is nice too. Only negative would be lack of baby changing facilities in main toilet block and having to go up to the reception block for baby changing. There are 'family rooms' with baths so we planned to give our child a bath but found you had to have 50p pieces to do so, which we didn't and the reception was closed. I would suggest that if you check in with a child under a certain age you are giving one token free for each day you are there. To have to pay for a bath as an extra is not acceptable. The Petarama/petting zoo was not open when we were at the park which was a shame as if it had been open in the late afternoon/early evening we would have gone to it but understand it is run by husband and wife so can't be there all the time! Also unusual for the shop to close as early as it does, usually open later on a campsite so just note the time if you need to pick up any essentials. Overall we would go back but just note these things. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This was our third visit to the site and we will be back again. Fantastic clean amenities, great pitches, friendly staff. The on-site shop has a great selection and the restaurant offers variety of food and drinks. Entertainment for kids and adults. Great beaches within short drive. Can?t recommend it enough.

Absolutely loved our stay at Stowford Village. The toilets and showers were spotless at all times, so was the rest of the site. Very happy to have an indoor pool on site and very affordable at £2.50 each. Also pleased to book a slot so it can?t get too busy at one time. Our favourite part was visiting Petorama. It is a mini petting zoo and you get to meet and hold so many animals there - and feed them. The husband and wife who run it are both lovely and there to answer questions. They were great with the kids and we can?t wait to go back and see the animals again!

Our first visit to this site and we had a fantastic visit. Close by to visit lots of fantastic places. Lovely large pitch, you could really spread out. Plenty of toilets, warm showers and sinks, and a great under cover washing up area as well as a laundry section and 20p to use an iron. A well stocked shop, fantastic camping shop that stocks everything you can think of. Petorama and crazy golf were the highlight of our stay. Lots of animals to cuddle and see, and you can also purchase fresh eggs. Also, horse riding is available. It was too nice to sit indoors, so we didn't really use the cafe or the bars, nor did we use the swimming pool. Facilities were kept clean most of the time, but on the odd occasion, they were left in a right state with rubbish and clothes all over the floor, and unflushed toilets full of toilet paper but that's more to do with the people staying. My only gripe is no warden or security at night time. Anyone could really wander onto the site at any time without being checked, especially in the middle of the night. We also unfortunately had a very loud family in the pitch behind that seem to forget tents were made of thin material and would return back every evening at 10.30pm and sit talking and laughing very loudly until 2/3am and allowing their dog to bark all night. Someone to make enforcing the rules of quiet after 11pm would be beneficial. There are also no facilities to freeze your own cool blocks. You have to hire them. It's a small deposit that is returnable once the freeze blocks have been returned and 75p for each block. We will, however, definitely return.

The Western Weekend was really good, with some grear afternoon acts and a lovely atmosphere. However, there was disappointing entertainment (just a lacklustre disco) on the Saturday night which was reflected in everyone leaving early. The site itself is nice enough, but stayed in better kept sites. Given this costs over £43 a night for a touring pitch (at normal times), it does not give great value for money - although the Western Weekend was discounted so seemed about right. Also, we were located right next to a massive rusty rubbish trailer - it could at least have had a fence around it. Drinks at the bar seemed reasonably priced. Location is a bit far from anything and it's a real shame there is no bus service to Ilfracombe etc. Our big gripe was with the 'drinking' water. It was treated so much, with chlorine or something, that it is totally undrinkable - we then had to pay £5.70 for two bottles of water over the 3 day weekend.
