Called in on the way to Sidmouth as traffic was really bad very pleasantly surprised, we were lucky to get lunch as we had not booked. Lovely clean establishment with a relaxed atmosphere and polite friendly staff. Sunday lunch was excellent, meat was tender and a great selection of fresh veg too. Excellent value.
Highly recommend we will definitely be returning and making sure we book

Happened by this place on our way down to Cornwall because we needed refreshments. The Barkeeper was welcoming and friendly and advised us to sit in the beer garden, which we gratefully did as it was a beautiful sunny day. We decided to order the minted lamb burger to fill us up for the rest of the journey and OMG it was the best burger I have ever had. Beautifully presented and just enough to fill us up without being overfull.

Delicious food in a bright and airy country pub. Our party had Roast chicken, Roast beef and Nut roast, all presented beautifully and just the right amount to be able to enjoy a pudding.

Flintlock Inn made my Christmas feast a memorable affair. Starting with the refreshing Haloumi Salad, the festive vibes were set just right.The succulent Roast Leg of Lamb showcased the comforting allure of holiday traditions. Flintlock Inn, a cherished spot in Devon, proved to be more than just a dining experience; it was a celebration of local culinary delights. The Orange Chocolate Cheesecake added a sweet conclusion, leaving me appreciating the festive ambiance and the warmth of a local gem. Fabulous evening from start to finish. Food was delicious, there was enough choice that there was something for everyone without be overwhelming. Dog friendly, warm and cosy. Will definitely be back and would recommend 100%
