Fantastic stay. Cumfy well appointed room with delicious food. They catered well for GF needs and had little touches such as extra milk and fruit juice available 24/7. Well worth a visit

We stayed here over the weekend with my disabled mum. They were extremely accommodating, even when I phoned up to check the width of the door was OK for my mums wheel chair. The lady on the phone run down stairs to measure it for me. The breakfast was lovely and having access to fresh milk for my tea first thing in the morning was a big plus.
The rooms were clean and tidy. I left my ring in the room and they came running after me to return it which was a blessing as coming back for it would have been a nightmare.
Lovely location but no local shops and the pub is currently being renovated but all in all we loved it.

Wonderful customer service. We had an extremely comfortable stay. Lovely facilities, we had a restful sleep and delightful breakfast. Quality items used throughout the establishment. Would highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

What an absolute find. Beautiful property, delightful rooms and very comfy beds. Incredible views, lovely host (Neil) who cooks a bloody good breakfast. The little details also are much appreciated, like the ear plugs in the room, bathrobes etc. Also having plenty of teabags, milk, sugar and more is always welcome. Cannot recommend enough, thank you!
Rooms: Big room upstairs, wonderful stained glass window, amazing views. Great facilities, amenities and a decent TV!
Food & drinks: Full English breakfast was incredible. Local bacon sausage used, a fantastic start to the day.

I was travelling down from London, and 5 minutes away from the hotel when I was hit by a 6-car lorry. The way the way Neil and Sarah looked after me both on the day itself, and the following 2 I was booked, was nothing short of special. They went far, far above-and-beyond the call of duty. Although I was alone and many miles from home, I was made to feel not so. They are truly amazing people, who have helped to somewhat restore my faith in humanity.Now to the hotel itself... It used to be a Victorian school, and still maintains most of the features. It is a quaint and cute boutique hotel, in a very picturesque village. If you like character and quirky this is definitely the place for you. Each room is individually decorated. It would be an ideal stop for anyone heading towards Cornwall. There is plenty of parking, and a town not too far away for restaurants/shops etc. You can even build-your-own breakfast to order, which is a nice touch.I highly, highly recommend this wonderful place!

Easy to find and plenty of parking. We were greated upon arrival, and shown around. Room was nice, shower was amazing. L'occitane products were a lovely touch. Nice drinks selection, plus biscuits were an added bonus. Breakfast was fantastic, good quality and cooked fresh.Noteworthy details: Breakfast.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.I stayed for one night, and didnt get to explore Yardcombe as It was just a stop over for me. Cannot fault a thing. Hosts where so friendly. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE, and the rooms where lovely and cosy. Couldnt reccomend more.

Great find! A little bit of luxury for a very good price. Nice touches everywhere, from l'Occitane toiletries, to bath robes, lovely decor and a fantastic breakfast. These little things are not difficult or expensive to do but are so rarely done! Well done.

Room was clean and tidy, not the biggest but comfortable. Host was very welcoming and cooked breakfast was 1st class. Overall great value for money and conveniently located for me.

Slow tractors & narrow roads are common, but when I was late to check in they waited. A lovely location & easy to find. Great room with a view of the church. Comfortable bed. Superb breakfast... Absolutely 10/10 all round!
