We were heading home after a week in Cornwall and looking for somewhere to stop for a quick lunch - that wasn?t McDonald?s or Starbucks. Just happened upon this little gem & so glad we did. Dog friendly, pretty outdoor area, lovely friendly efficient staff & a great varied menu. We had sausage melt and tuna melt & they were huge, well presented & delicious. Reasonable prices and highly recommended

Driven past here hundreds of times and finally decided to stop for lunch. Wish we had done before. Everything about it was lovely. Really friendly, professional greeting and service along with an incredible menu, which we struggled to make a final decision on. With some advice, we did and we were both very pleased with our choices. It was quickly served but tasted freshly made, with really good ingredients. We will be stopping there again to try more of the menu. Thanks for a really lovely lunch

Really good breakfast, when travelling you really want a pit stop that's quick and efficient! This was just that. Super friendly and quick, I mean real quick, lovely vip.of tea and a full breakfast. Any small changes were dealt with quickly and politely, not a mushroom fan from here but that's individual taste. If all restaurants had this level of attentive staff, then the catering industry would be a better place.

What a great place to visit, Food fantastic, clean, interesting, and a very interesting Ploughmans and very delicious. Looking forward to going again in the near future. Very busy and all food looked great that was coming out of the kitchen.

Never got served they forgot us young lad never came back to take our order so we eventually left after seeing others who came in with us get food and orders taken

Wonderful farm shop with restaurant in an adjourning building. Friendly, efficient staff, welcoming atmosphere, varied menu including vegan options and all very yummy. Great Brunch start to the day. If I had one small piece of feedback, coffee wasn?t up to much for those like me used to a good freshly ground bean.

Having read the reviews and staying locally we thought we?d give this place a try. Environment was really nice with a rear garden room where you could also take your dog. It was pretty busy with a good ?hum?. Staff were Friendly and helpful and the coffee was very good. The breakfast however was so disappointing. The food came very quickly and had clearly been sat under hot lights. The black pudding was dried out one side and hardly cooked the other. The fried eggs had gone rubbery. Sausage was not to our taste, beans were watery. And can?t fathom why you would have to pay an extra £1 to have scrambled eggs or £2 for poached!!? Overall I?m afraid we won?t be returning

This cafe is a must if you want good food, good staff and good service. We had the best sandwiches we have had for ages. Even though it was extremely busy (no surprise, looking at the food coming out) the staff were extremely proficient and friendly with it. Also lovely toilets ?

I had a Thai duck curry off the specials board and it was truly amazing. Both times I have visited, I?ve had some of the best food I?ve ever eaten. This place is a gem. Thank you.

Really ace stop on the A35, good coffee, generous good quality bacon baps, airy space, very clean, friendly staff, spotless lavs with nice soap. Also a super little farm shop This is our new first stop after Exeter.

I have passed this place hudreds of times, and it looks nothing from the outside as you drive by on the A35. However after checking out where to have a decent breakfast near Hontion, on Trip Advisor I decided to stop and give it a go. Thank you so much. It was brilliant. The breakfast was incredible, at a very reasonable price. Decent coffee as well. The service was efficient and friendly, despite the servers seemingly working their socks off. I decided to change my order slightly after I had ordered and this was not a problem. My only suggestion is to make sure you book as it was packed out on a Sunday morning. We had not but they still accommodated us, but we were quite early.

15 of us turned up, having been turned down for Breakfast elsewhere, and nothing was too much trouble. We were found tables and from there on, were so well looked after. Service was superb as were the Breakfasts. I must say that the large was one if not the best have had for years. Lovely products and pipping hot. We will be back again. Thank you.
