Went 14 August 2025 mid week for lunch for 4 people. We were only people in restaurant. Good food,friendly staff, good food. Recommend. £18-20 each for food and 1 non alcoholic drink. Chose burgers and pork belly.

The food and service was excellent. Attentive staff, I was offered water for the table and did not have to ask.
I had salmon, mash, asparagus and mini courgette. My daughter had the childrens pasta, garlic and seasoned well and gomemade garlic bread, delicious.

Absolutely impressed, Katie and Sam were fantastic great front of house service 10/10, nothing was to much trouble, we ordered a roast, and was not disappointed, it was flavoursome and absolutely delicious, just the right amount of everything on our plates, we also had dessert, that was the best I have had in a very long time, would highly recommend The old market inn to everyone I know, well done, and a big Thank You.

Had a really nice meal here with a friend. Very lovely staff who found us a table even though they were booked up, and we were served incredibly quickly
Had pate to start which came with toast, salad and chutney which was very tasty, and I had chicken breast with a mushroom sauce, and brownie to finish with a huge cup of coffee. So good to see a decent sized cup of coffee, which was strong and a really nice end to my meal. I'm not a local, just visiting a friend, but would definitely return again.

We ate here last Friday four of us. The food was fantastic the all the young people who served us we a credit to the pub so polite and helpful 10/10 all round.

Great food at a sensible price. Local ale reasonably priced and good enough that I went for a second on a school night.
You will struggle to find better in Holsworthy . 100% will eat here again .

Had one night stay! Nothing was too much trouble for hosts! Amazing food and lovely comfortable stay. We will return.

We visited for a family Sunday lunch with four adults, a five year old and 20 month old twins. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious.
All staff were efficient and friendly.
We would definitely recommend.
