Surprise find! Lovely old pub, very warm welcome and the pasties, made by the owner Ashley, were the best we had ever tasted! Returned en route home from our holiday to indulge once again and bought some to take away! Thoroughly recommend!

Room was very clean , very comfy bed with lovely white bedding.Good food ,delicious scampi and chips and the full breakfast was good too . ( A real coffee would have been better though ) .Jill and Ashley were very pleasant and friendly hosts , nothing was too much trouble

Jill and Ashley are great hosts, my aunt asked where she could stay and we said The Kings Arms and had two great nights. Excellent breakfast.

I can highly recommend the King's Arms. 3 night stay.clean comfortable room. Traditional food to die for. A 5?? service. Close to local shops. The host's Jill and Ash are very friendly host's

Awful, no baby changing facilities asked bar staff and was then told I can't use the 'family room' as their mum was in there, was then told I can't change her in the bar. Food was also bang average at best.

We all enjoyed amazing meals, 100% recommend the food and can't wait to go back. The hosts were just brilliant too, keeping our dog entertained and making us feel so welcome.

I was staying in Holdsworthy on saturday 7/1/23 with 5 friends. We read the reviews on the Kings Arms and thought it would be a nice meal and a game of darts. I went to the bar ordered drinks and asked about food. I was told by the Landlord, we are not doing food because were going on Holiday tommorow. One of my friends asked, is it o.k. to play darts. the reply was a stern no we've got Karoke soon. I Didn't find the landlord at all welcoming or friendly. We stayed an hour no karoke started, so we could have had a few games. I won't be rushing back there,

Tried to book a table but told not serving food until after the New Year. I thought places were struggling and it seems strange to turn custom away.

Lovely friendly pub and fantastic rooms at a very reasonable price. The owners are super accommodating. We have used this hotel/pub many times and recommend it to people.Rooms: Great rooms with dog friendly options. Our friends have been superbly looked after.Nearby activities: Great location near to bude and CornwallWalkability: Right in the middle of the town square everything in town within moment walk. Bus services on its doorstep.
