Sweet and sour chicken hk style...when I opened it and saw no pineapple...no onions..no peppers my heart sank. Even the picture on their menu has the correct ingredients. What I got was was watery sauce and very strange pieces of dried up 'meat' that hadn't even been mixed in with the sauce....shocking!!

I enjoy cooking Chinese food but treated myself to a take away. It was edible but nothing to go back for? We had house special rice - house special chow mein some Sweet and sour prawn balls and two panckake rolls. The sauce came in a tiny pot and was weak? The pancake rolls were small at 2.80 each! They don't even give gesture of a few prawn crackers with orders of approx £25.
I'll be sticking to my own wok from now on : tip lucky boat noodles sold on line, sesame oil, nut oil, shoaxing rice wine, msg for extra umami flavour, light soy dark soy, goldfish curry sauce concentrate and lee kum kee sweet and sour sauce.
For chow mein - lucky boat noodles - boil 6 mins let stand hot water 4 mins rinse and drain very well - fry onion in wok with small oil amount add noodles add cup of bean sprouts, splash dark soy to colour, splash light soy, splash rice wine capful at most, splash sesame oil, sprinkle of msg half teaspoon - stir fry few mins - Add cooked meat of choice like pre poached chicken. Good luck !!

Not an enjoyable experience I'm afraid. Noodles in Roast Beef Chow Mein slimey (would compare consistency to a tin of spaghetti). The chicken in the chicken balls was mushy for the entire portion and the sweet and sour sauce was runny and another disappointment. There is not one good thing I can say about the food I'm afraid and a total waste of money.
The one positive was the friend young girl who served us.

Lady very blunt on phone! We went and collected the order the salt and pepper chips for some reason were covered in sugar !! Then we had onions on food after saying none ! Worst Chinese we?ve had !!

Absolutely disgusting food few mouthfuls and put in bin ,flavourless ,dry basically just slop a waste of £35 ,we live in holsworthy will never again buy from here again, they really need to be shut down or sort it out so avoid !

Young chow fried rice supposed to come with chinese roast pork, peas, prawns and ham. Peas and ham entirely absent. Pork plan. Prawns way past their best, whole dish tasted fishy. Roast duck chow mein bland but okay. Chicken balls best part of the meal but still, very bland! Phoned my order in and was given a time to collect, but still had to wait 20 minutes past my given time. Not recommended.

Agree with other reviewers, food is rather bland. Young chow fried rice had pork and prawns, but no ham or peas as advertised, and also tasted fishy-pretty sure the prawns were past their best. Chow mein was better but still rather bland. Service rather slow-called my order in, got given a time for pickup, and still had to wait 20 minutes past my given time. Will not visit again, there are far better takeaways only a short drive away.

Unfortunately one of the worst Chinese meals I?ve had. Good size portions and hot however NO fresh ingredients what so ever. All sauces tasted the same and was just awful. Shame.

Certainly not the best by far. I stick to the same everything as its all I like from here. They have no idea on foo young it's like an English omelette.no beansprouts or peas. All very bland.
