I planned a leaving do in the garden here. The staff were great and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. They even provided extra staff to cook pizzas for us which were delicious! The staff, service and food are great. ?

Well, when a good establishment really ups its game. Went in for a meal with friends, and the staff were all friendly and professional?fantastic choice of decent alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We were served quickly, even though it was busy. We sat in the beer garden, which looked to have just been revamped and got the sun all evening. The food was terrific. Would recommend to anybody. Thank you

Great little pub in Hatherleigh.
Food was excellent, I had the pie of the day(Chicken and Gammon) with mash and vegetables, which was great and the wife had GF Fish and Chips - she said it was the best she'd had. Amber the waitress was brilliant, bubbly, Freindly and very helpful checking the GF options when asked. Good value for money, good service and I highly recommend The Tally Ho!!

The food was amazing! It is our first time visiting Okehampton so we didn?t know where was a good place to eat, so we called about and found this place and the staff were lovely and chatty! Our dog came with us and they are super dog friendly! Would definitely recommend

We were a table of 4 on a Friday evening. The place was very busy, with a lovely mix of locals and visitors; diners and drinkers. Under new management, and with a new chef, the food offer has - apparently - stepped up a gear or two.
Starters of whitebait (£6.95) arrived quickly, and were very decent portions. Mains included Fish and Chips (£16.95) Rump of Lamb (£21.95) and Curry of the Day (£17.95) - all were fresh, well cooked, and generous portions. The wine list is limited but has a good selection, and is reasonably priced. Our Kingklip Bay Sauvignon Blanc (£23.00) was a good example of South African SB. Service was charming and attentive. Total bill was £166.15 excluding tip.

Popped in as we were passing through the area to ask about food, was shouted at by an unsmiley barmaid that they dont serve food on Sunday afternoon. No problem, a hello rather than a telling off would be nice next time. Very unfriendly atmosphere. Crikey.

Absolutely outstanding experience at The Tally Ho! in Hatherleigh, Devon! The food was exceptional ? beautifully cooked, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. A lovely personal touch was when the chef came over to our table to ask how everything was ? such a thoughtful gesture that showed how much pride they take in their work. A truly memorable meal ? we can?t wait to come back!

Ate here several times during our weeks stay in Hatherleigh and the food is excellent. Had a different dish every time and each was very tasty and well presented. Great service and all round brilliant pub. Highly recommended.

I went to the Tally Ho! For the first time in a long while tonight and was incredibly impressed. I took my two young children who were welcomed by a wonderfully smiley team. The food was served quickly, beautifully presented and tasty! Very reasonable prices, good quality food and great service. Exactly what you want from a country pub. Thank you!
