A genuine olde world pub with its own carpark. A good selection of food on offer. Our order was taken quickly, although the wait was a little longer than I would have expected, but it was worth it.

We went twice this week with my family and had an amazing eating experience. The chef, Richie should be highly commended for producing 14 meals of such high quality. The George Inn is a classical "Chocolate Box" thatched property which was first recorded as being on the current site in the early 1450's.
Burned to the ground in 2008 and rebuild in 2010, every effort has been made to make it a space with the look and feel of a traditional classic pub and restaurant blending in with modern comfort.
The Inn has 12 en-suite letting rooms, with underfloor heating, amazing showers or bath.
The bar is well stocked, with a wide variety of ales, lagers, spirits & wines and the food, prepped on the premises using local produce where possible, all lends to a warm and pleasurable experience.
