Went here and I got the Gentlemans Delightful tea.
Presentation was great, and the tea and scones tasted good.
The sandwich was ok, a bit dry.
I would say the portion size isn't great for the amount you pay, as we were all still hungry afterwards.
If you can get a table outside, the view is amazing on a clear day

Stopped for lunch on the way up from harbour and were lucky enough to get a table at the front of the garden with an amazing view. We ordered scotch egg platter and savoury tea, cheese scones could have been a bit more cheesy but we really enjoyed everything and the young staff were brilliant. Our visit here was a highlight of a really lovely day

Really nice staff, picture perfect location and lovely fresh scones. Perfect way to start the morning off having a cuppa, staring out into the sea.

This was the best cream tea I have ever had

Very kind people and an adorable atmosphere with tea cups hanging from the ceiling like they were suspended midair. Also the best gluten free scones I had ever had which came with the gluten free cream tea. It was delicious and lacked that crumbly texture that generally comes with gluten free scones. 100% recommend.

The outdoor seating had some fantastic views across the water. The food was incredible and we barely waited 10 minutes for our 4 orders. A must visit whilst walking to/from the harbour.

As you make your way down into the charming village of Clovelly, you?ll find the tearoom about halfway along the cobbled path.
It serves a lovely selection of tearoom favourites: baguettes, sandwiches, scones, and quiche, just to name a few. Both hot and cold drinks are available too.
We were lucky with the weather and made the most of it by sitting outside with a stunning view of the sea. There are a few benches with umbrellas tucked away at the back. In the sunshine, it?s a real little sun trap!
The food was delicious, with generous portions. The quiche was homemade, which is always a bonus. It?s great to get fresh, quality food in a spot that could so easily rely on passing trade.
One bit of feedback I?d offer. It would be lovely if the outdoor dining area was a smoke-free zone.
Although there weren?t any ashtrays provided, a couple of people near us lit up while we were eating, which did slightly affect the otherwise lovely atmosphere.
I?m not suggesting the tearoom encourages smoking at all, but a clear sign or a little note from staff could really help keep the area enjoyable for everyone

Lovely place to sit and eat. Large selection of great dishes and a reasonable amount of drinks to accompany. The scones and quiche were both nice. The hot chocolate didn't dissapoint and the staff were excellent.

Popped in here for Cream Tea on our walk back up.
Wow the cream tea?s did not disappoint. One of the best we have had.
The scones had a lovely flavour. With plenty of jam & cream(jam 1st) . We sat outside in the garden & the views were stunning.
Friendly service also. What more can you ask for !

Lovely wee café/tearoom in Devon if you're in and around Clovelly.

Lovely little tea room quite a range of food but cold foods. And fresh seafood fillings. The inside is quite small. And a few tables inside and loads more seating outside.
Vegetarian options: Loads of vegetarian options and fish
Wheelchair accessibility: No access for wheelchairs due to the cobbled streets and steep.hills
