My sister and I took a friend there for her birthday. We had a traditional tea. Oh boy it was so good and so much delicious food, fabulous homecooked soup, sausage rolls, cakes, chocolate and scones, prawn cocktail, fabulous sandwiches. We will be back.

Held a 50th birthday bash for my wife here, and couldn't have had a better time. Lovely setting and great food made for a great time. Especially thankful for the lovely childrens plates that were made up for my Grandchildren. Can't wait to return to sample some of the other delights on offer

Great afternoon tea. A bit off the beaten track but worth the visit. Nice garden area with plenty of kids activities. Fully enclosed garden area. Dog friendly. Lovely friendly staff.

We went to The Old Farmhouse Kitchen and Tearoom yesterday for afternoon tea as part of my daughter's hen weekend. The food and service were excellent and we were able to sit outside on covered tables in the lovely garden. Well worth a visit but a good idea to book.

We booked Sherry and her team to cater for our parents funeral in April 2025.
They provided their catering service at a separate venue to the Old Farm House tea rooms? and catered for 200 people.
After booking their service we visited the tea rooms and discussed what food we would like included in the buffet. They were happy to cater for our requests, and some of my parents old favourites were made and placed amongst the buffet.
The food and presentation were wonderful, we had lots of comments from people attending about the quality of the food, with several people saying it was the best buffet they had tasted?..
From a personal point of view Sherry was excellent and we did not need to worry about anything on the day or the lead up to it.
Thank you so much for being part of the wonderful send off for our parents.

This is the most beautiful lunchtime spot you could ask for. We went today for a Mother?s Day high tea and everything was outstanding. I am dairy free and this was facilitated with excellent options that were tasty and of great quality. The staff are lovely and friendly and very thoughtful and even put a mesh cover over our food whilst we took our child to look at the chickens and donkeys. I was gifted a sweet ceramic cow as a Mother?s Day gift and we were given complimentary Prosecco on arrival. I honestly couldn?t have asked for anything better. Thank you!

We've been coming to this wonderful farm coffee shop for years now. Everything is always made with love and to perfection, needless to say it's always tasty. Scones are delicious and so was the venison pie special we've had the other day.
Thank you for all your hard work ?

We visited for afternoon tea - booked as a gift for our wedding anniversary.
Every single piece of the afternoon tea was delicious - and we were so full we had to take some home!
Thank you for a lovely experience.

Wonderful place highly recommend if you?re near or in the area. Wonderful staff who are welcoming and make the experience much better, feels like home. Games are on the table which were fun and entertaining to play. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend the bacon and Brie toastie and their cookies, exceptional.

Lovely farmstead tearoom hidden in the north Devon countryside.
Delicious food, amazing cakes and scrumptious cream teas. Friendly staff and efficient service. Inside the old farmhouse you'll find a cosy dining room full of curiosities and irresistible cakes! Also plenty of seating in the large well kept garden. Children and leaded dogs welcome. Parking next to the farmhouse in the farmyard.
Altogether a perfect place to have lunch, highly recommend.

We were here last week with some friends for the afternoon tea (they'd booked it as a surprise for my wife and I) and were thoroughly impressed. The selection, quality, quantity & service just couldn't be faulted.
One of us had the vegetarian option, and spoke highly of the alternatives provided, whilst I had the regular option, which was both delicious and plentiful, as well as having some unexpected inclusions (refer back to this being a surprise - I imagine the menu would confirm what you'll be getting).
We saw food being brought out for other guests and that left us wanting to sample more of the menu, despite all feeling decidedly full.
The staff were attentive but not fussy, helpful and polite when interacting, genuinely nice.
The venue itself was very clean - as you'd hope for at a tea room of course, but this isn't always a given, made even more impressive due to being situated at a working farm. The facilities were accessed via the rear of the property (so you had to step outside to get to them) and these were also very clean (didn't use them myself, but the rest of my party did).
It's evident the owners/staff take pride in doing a very good job, my only gripe is that it's too far from home for a day trip, but we will most definitely be returning when we are in the area.

Great little place, really enjoyed the cream tea which was clearly all home made and delicious. Big garden with lots of space to sit in with the dogs
