The Cav has a amazing atmosphere weekdays it's your casual family pub with Banging grub weekends you can be sure to go Cav and have a quality time then bartenders all are top tier and always up for a chat 10/10 place .... And don't get me started on them roasts

Friendly hosts. It was under new management so there was no food when we went but the landlady so kindly put some lovely roast potatoes on our table ? 2 doubles and two coffees £18 very reasonable prices. If we was back in the area we would visit again

Oh what another fantastic pub that is now under new management! Cheri is a fantastic member of staff and Matt (part owner) is absolutely perfect for the job! I believe his partner is the landlady!
We've just enjoyed a lovely afternoon drink with free beautiful complimentary roast potatoes on the bar! They were awesome! ?
Matt can't be any more helpful with helping you to choose the right beer! Brilliant guy! ?
Although we are on holiday and only travelling through, we will definitely make the effort for a return visit!
Get yourselves down here and enjoy the live music on certain evenings as apparently it's really great!

Went in this afternoon with a business colleague. Ordered a large Bacardi with Diet Coke. Drink was ruined with too much coke. I asked the barman for another drink ( politely) and was told you?ll have to pay for it. So I did. Drink was ruined. 2nd round.. I asked just a dash of coke. Drink was ruined again. Belligerent barman called josh. Was rude and unhelpful.. we are local businesses.. never again ?????
