Woman was rude upon entry making snarky comments, walked in the back way and saw ash trays with fagg buts in and the place reeked of cigarettes and mould, outside area was unkept and murky,we asked if they were open only to get a snarkey comment back from the woman ?can you not see it says closed on the front door?would stay well away?

The roast dinner is lovely, both owners Steve and Kerry were very welcoming to not only us adults but the kids, the kids loved Kerry and it was reciprocated, she was very family friendly and you could tell she was a mother. The owner Steve was a well respectable man as well.

Despicable food I had the liver and it was grey ,grainy and congealed the mash was cold but the veg was ok. My husband had the garlic chicken which was coated in raw garlic When I complained I was told it was one of their best sellers !! The man was rude to an extent that was unacceptable and I had to walk away. Just do not go there

(Family of 4, Friday 25th august 2023) Arrived at 11.50am and saw that it opens at midday so didn?t mind waiting in the front garden for 15 minutes. A lady went past us just before noon and entered through the back doors so we knew that someone from inside knew that we were there. However, at 12.10pm there was no sign of the doors opening. I phoned at 12.15 but there was no reply. At 12.20 we returned to the rear car park where you can also find overgrown stinging nettles , a dumped vehicle and a falling down shed. Whilst driving out we saw a DPD delivery driver making a delivery but no sign of anyone opening the doors.Another car (2 occupants) had also decided to leave as they weren?t prepared to wait either. We drove to Exmouth where we spent £30 having delicious cream teas , cakes etc. (Bumble Bee tea room is 5 mins walk from exmouth beach and well worth a visit).

We were staying at Haven, and this little gem caught our eye and I'm so glad it did. Very cute cottage style pub. Relaxed and very welcoming atmosphere. First visit was my partner and me (date night) My partners liver and oinion were pit of this world, cooked to perfection. It was so good we went back again with the family and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. Food was absolutely delicious and couldn't argue with the prices. We will definitely be going there next time in the area ????Kid-friendliness: Children are more than welcome. They do great desserts, and the garden area out the front is great with children while waiting.
