Over the last few months we have had Karndean flooring laid by Mike Nichols & Sons in our utility room, kitchen and hall. The flooring was laid diagonally to run continuously through these rooms. It looks amazing. We also had carpets laid in our living room, lounge, stairs and landing. A few days before each job, Barry the fitter called to trim the existing flooring around the skirting boards. This enabled me to sand and paint the skirting boards.The customer service is excellent. The showroom staff are friendly and give helpful advice. The fitters are first class too. We will definitely use this family business again.

Very happy with service from Barrie and his team from start to finish. Friendly, helpful and professional. Patient when I changed my mind and gave a good idea on a rather exciting way to lay parquet flooring which I took a gamble on and I am chuffed to pieces with the result. I went in to Mike Nichols carpets and provided measurements for a quote on the 9th May. I was told they would get back to me in a couple of days. I have chased twice and have been told they will get back to me later that day but I still haven?t heard back from them. Very unprofessional.

1st rate service from start to finish. Highly recommended. The whole team from measuring up, quoting, selection of flooring and fitting were brilliant. Fitting team were very polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Will certainly use again when remainder of flooring requires renewing.

I would not recommend Mike Nichols carpet specialist as they provided us with a poor and amateur job. We asked them to fix a burn on our carpet, which they said they could do and would look satisfactory. It looks absolutely awful and we could not be more disappointed. We will never be using their service and we wouldn?t want anyone else to waste their time!

Recently had some flooring laid in a new shop I opened. Fitted within a reasonable time scale at a fantastic price. The service I had was second to none even offering to collect keys to give to builder etc. Will use for all my flooring needs in the future.
