Outstanding Food and Service. This is the most authentic Tapas restaurant outside of Spain. With a great atmosphere, Ian is a great host and wife’s cooking is so delicious. Superb value as well, you can just eat simply or for a special occasion. Thanks Ian for another great evening, the packed restaurant gave it such a warm and friendly feel as well.

Great food. Friendly service. Definitely come again. I would recommend 3 tapas choices for a meal. You do need to book as busy at the weekend. Prepare for a relaxed meal as with several tables to serve the server needs time to get around everyone.

Absolutely fantastic Tapas meal at El Olivo! Every dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully cooked - we were halfway through before we realised we hadn?t taken any photos? just empty plates all round! The service was warm and friendly and the atmosphere perfect for a relaxed evening out. Couldn?t recommend it more.

This was our 1st visit to El Olivo after visiting Exmouth for many years. Reviews on here were great so we thought we?d give it a try. I managed to book us a table with 24 hrs notice (booking is essential!) and we were warmly welcomed by the owner on arrival. He explained the menu to us and recommended we order 4-5 dishes and olives. The food came steadily and each dish was delicious. The quantity was just right for us too. The restaurant is small and rustic which gave a cosy atmosphere. Walk-in guests were turned away as the restaurant was fully booked all night. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would recommend. We will definitely return next time we are in Exmouth!

A small but perfectly formed restaurant serving the most amazing tapas. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service warm and friendly, and the food?absolutely divine.\n\nMe and my friend opted for the vegetarian options and every dish was a hit. The standouts? The whipped feta was creamy and tangy, the courgette fritters were crisp and golden, and the rocket and nectarine salad was a refreshing burst of summer on a plate.\n\nHighly recommended!
