A big shoutout to the hostess, sorry I didn't get her name. She greeted us with a warm smile and ensured we got a table by the window, just as we requested and also read in the notes that it was our anniversary so she put a couple of balloons on the table for us. It made our night feel extra special. The food was well presented and full of flavour. It was nice to see it had a nice choice for vegetarians. Our waitress was friendly and cheerful. The restaurant and bar is nicely decorated throughout with lovely fresh flowers that are pooping with colour.
From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations and the personalized touches were wonderful, great ambiance, and the whole experience made it a night to remember.

We had a buffet tea on the afternoon (great quality and the scones were amazing).
Following morning, after a stay at the Devon Hotel next door, we chose the breakfast and it did not disappoint - massive range of options, presented well and was spot on. We chose full English and were very happy. It was also nice to sit on the terrace afterwards to enjoy our coffee (and a cigarette !)

OUTSTANDING!! From start to finish an all round great service and quality. So easy to book a table online and I would advise as it got very busy just after we got there. We went for the Sunday Carvery which cost £15.50 and was worth every penny. A choice of 4 meats, sausages Yorkshire puddings and all the usual trimmings. There are plenty of staff who are all so friendly, Lee behind the serving counter was great as was Cameron who served our table, both a credit to the team. We would definitely recommend and will definitely return. 5*****

Came here for some after work drinks. Bar was quiet and plenty of seating outside. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing. Reasonably priced with plenty of beverage options available. Ample parking if you require or the park and ride is just down the road if you want to catch the bus

Will not be using the Brend group again,the service here is now appaling,rude staff,unhelpful and first words you get now when booking is table has to be back by an hour and a half so they can turn the tables.
Been spending a fortune over the years with various Brend hotels but never again and will be making sure we dont recommend.
They ruined my birthday 18 monthes ago but we have been slowly using them again and t bf my daughters wedding party was excellent but today 2/2/25 was shocking.
To think how good they used to be in Exeter is heart breaking,lets hope you can survive in this climate.
