Full of students freeloading the Wi-Fi and buying no coffee. Nice place other than that. Not sure how they afford it though?

Brilliant experience. Great coffee and gluten free snacks. Was relaxed and stress free with very little restrictions. Would come back if the opportunity arose. My father was also impressed.

Books galore! Reasonable prices for a variety of genres, selling new books and a range of classics. The cafe upstairs sells good food as well.

V helpful staff member. As I couldn't see the books I wanted. Naturally they were on the next shelf down....

Always blown away by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Came in looking for a newly published book and the staff spent twenty minutes tracking it down for me, ultimately unpacking newly delivered stock just so I could walk away with it then!

The outstanding feature is the staff !!, on Sunday we were helped and guided by the two most helpful and knowledgeable members of staff that you could hope to be helped by anywhere. With these two ladies working as a team, I fear for the future of internet book sales. We can't thank or recommend them enough. The person who employed them should feel pretty smug as well, for not letting such talented people slip through the net. Again, thank you.

Great shop, one of the last decent shops on most High streets

Surprisingly limited stock of books for teaching English as a foreign language: three or four for IELTS, but none for the Cambridge exams (or if they had them, they were so well hidden that even the shop assistant didn't know where to find them). Given the number of foreign students who visit Exeter every year, I would have expected at least a few for all the five levels.

Beautiful bookshop with a café. If you're looking for a new adventure to explore and want to drink some tea or coffee that's your place to be!
