Unfortunately a rather unpleasant experience.I was overcharged by the bar staff who just handed the card reader, not showing or stating the amount. I got a refund only after complaining to the manager and was treated unpleasantly throughout.We were also in a group of people. Only the Asian person with us got ID?d. I understand the need to ID people but there is right and wrong ways to do so as security to make people feel welcome and not discriminated against, especially when dealing with groups of people.

honestly was my first time here but the atmosphere sucked mainly bc of the people, music is tasteless as f and i had an issue where i payed to put my coat in the cloakroom behind the bar and they kept telling me for 30 mins how i had to ?wait 5 minutes and come back? to get it because the bar staff couldnt go behind the bar for some reason? wasn?t a great time tbh

Decent Music and Vibe. Partlyqueer, mostly not. Don?t appreciate being physically shoved by the stair person, instead of asked to move while checking my phone? very rude. Not much else by way of choice though. Just don?t expect manners from anyone and you?re good :)

Nice venue but terribly managed. Banned for mistaken identification - emailed in proof that I wasn?t present the day of the offence and after a year I was told by the doorman that they?ve acknowledged it wasn?t me (shock - I wasn?t even in the country). However, apparently in proving my innocence I pissed the manager off and now remained banned. A normal person might offer an apology after publicly & abusively banning a guest incorrectly, but not here. I hope everyone migrates to The Monkey Suit where the management actually appreciate their customers.

The dive bar all the other dive bars look down on. Firstly, it is not a gay bar. It was full of weird, pervy straight guys that made my friend and I really, really uncomfortable. Some guy tried to steal my jacket out of my hands. We were constantly harassed. Two fights needed dealing with in the time it took to drink one drink and get out. On the plus side, the bar staff were really nice.
