Excellent pub with great food. honestly beyond expectations. I had a pulled pork burger which was a today's special and rhubarb and custard tart with ginger ice cream. Very tasty! the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Very nice old pub with modern bedrooms.
Staff Very friendly and pleasant.
Breakfast was excellent apart from the very insipid orange juice. Cutting corners like that is ridiculous.
Food in the evening was excellent.
£10. For dog to stay a bit excessive.
Car parking was good but not a secured parking lot.
Overall we'd be happy to stay but felt rushed having to leave at 10am.

Loved our three night stay!
Every member of staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and efficient.
Our room was very clean, we had everything we needed and it was comfy.
The dinner menu was varied, good value and delicious. Very generous portions too!
Lots of options for vegans etc plus a 'light' menu for either children or anyone not needing a big dinner.
The pub is very cosy.
Thanks everyone, we slept well and would totally recommend you to everyone!

This is my favourite of pubs in which I have stayed in the UK. Not the most glitzy, but a classic and very old country pub, with friendly staff and locals alike. Atmospheric and feels a little like travelling back in time.
