Stayed there for the night. Room was good. Stayed in a basic single room which suited me.
Food and drink were great, and so were the staff.
Can't really fault.
Would recommend.

We were a party of 8 and arrived 1.5hours before food service was over, yet it really seemed as if the staff did not want to serve us. One was so rude to one of our party that they decided not to eat. If I am in the area, I won't be goi g back here.

Can?t speak for rooms or food as we just popped in for a quick drink.
The welcome was second to none. Such a warm, welcoming landlady we felt so at home.

Popped in for a pint on Sunday lunchtime when they were busy with lunches. Train that evening...cancelled but luckily they had a triple room for us. Really well looked after.
