What a great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The food was exceptional and the staff deserve a special mention too as they couldn?t be more friendly and professional. Great night out. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely time here. Went for a spontaneous lunch out. The servers were very friendly and the vegan meatball hanging kebab was delicious!

Our first time? although the food was very good and the staff were very attentive the place was let down by the shocking state of the toilets. There was water on the floor in the cubicles, no toilet paper, no push plunger in more than one of them. Finally the cocktails, although tasty, were more ice than drink. We will not be going back mainly because of the toilets. I question the hygiene!!

Food was very good, staff lovely. Only criticism was the restaurant was cold. A couple of ladies behind us kept their coats on! Would certainly visit again.

I have to say that the staff at the Exeter Botanist on Wednesday 3rd January at lunchtime were exceptional. It was my daughters 16th birthday and through no fault of their own a delivery of meat hadn?t arrived and after we ordered an alternative choice to be told they had run out of this option too they went above and beyond to provide us with a lovely lunch. To top it off they unexpectedly came out with a personalised birthday dessert board, to make it extra special. Brilliant staff and lovely food. Thank you. We will be back.

Thank you to Jess our waitress for her hospitality and attentiveness on New Years Eve. Amazing staff, beautiful food as always and all the staff were fantastic they couldn?t do much more for us.Full vegan three course meal and prosecco, thank you to the chef who was on his own in the kitchen yet produced fast and delicious food.10/10 will be back thank you guys so muchDietary restrictions: Full vegan menu so many options I couldn?t decide!

We arrived at 8.00 pm and mains did not arrive until just before 10.00pm - and then only because we chased up and said we were about to cancel the order . Waitress avoided us , people we asked to chase our order never appeared again and no one seemed that bothered except one person who apologised at the end . Food was fine and live music good -but service a shocker ! Multiple other people were complaining too .

The service is horrendous. Several members of staff have apologised for the poor service with our order of food. The table next to us walked out after waiting an hour from having their starters, shame really as the venue is good. The kitchen really needs to up its game, as they cannot cope when the bar is slightly busy.

Overall the food was not bad but my first two choices were not available which was disappointing. We waited nearly an hour for our food. Staff were very good, polite and doing their best at a busy time. I would say give it a go, this may have been a one-of. I hope so because the menu choices are pretty good??if they have them.

The food was nice, we ate from the Christmas set menu and the choices were a bit strange and the kebab was very pale looking but was quite tasty regardless! The service was good, though they did lose a drink order but it was quickly rectified. Staff were friendly and our arrival drinks came out in good time, so did the food! The only issue was paying at the end, the waitress didn?t know the price and undercharged everyone so had to go back round and take more money. We then were told we were £50 under, which was clearly incorrect as we each added up what we had. This was a long process so was a bit frustrating when we were ready to leave! They waived it in the end, though I believe it was more their error not ours as we payed what we were asked to pay.
