Andy and Andy were absolutely brilliant, helping me out with a really tricky repair, on a Sunday! They got me back riding my Brompton again after an annoying breakdown - and saved my holiday! Wonderful service

Just extremely careless. I've taken two bikes in to be serviced three separate times and every time they manage to fix the problem and break something else: losing screws, overinflating tires so you blow out on the way home... just basic stuff. If you post a negative review they'll be very apologetic of course and make you feel guilty so you take down the review but it's an inconvenience and there are other options in town. Really only have myself to blame at this point, of course...

Had to get a new seat and I've got to say the guys at Bikeshed Exeter on Fore St smashed it out the park again. Have been going there for the 17 years I've been in Exeter, which has been a fair few times being useless at practical stuff, and every time they've gone above and beyond in terms of customer service. This time one of the bespoke nuts to attach the seat vanished when taking the original off and Andy went out of his way to find a pseudo replacement that had to have the end sawn off to actually do the job. And then refused to take payment for the labour and part.I can't speak for every Bikeshed but if this approach to service is the policy I really wouldn't go anywhere else.

I just came in to ask a question. My electric bike needed a new battery. My clothes were a little dirty because I had just gotten off work. They didn't even care, they hurtfully said they didn't have batteries. This is not a problem. I realized that something was wrong, I sent a friend of mine in clean clothes, they took care of them half an hour later and said they could help. This is very shameful and hurtful. Please be more careful in your behavior towards people.

The service at The Bikeshed Fore Street is on another level. I've been visiting The Bikeshed (City Centre) since 2019, and they never disappoint! They provided valuable advice when I purchased my first Cube Performance mountain ebike, which I still use. Recently, I stopped by to change my other hybrid ebike's tire, and, as usual, the staff was super helpful. I requested the Schwable Marathon Plus tire, which they had in stock, and they promptly changed it for me. I truly appreciate the consistently excellent service at this shop

I took my bike in for a long overdue service and the service and end result from The BikeShed is amazing. When I dropped the bike off I confessed that since living up a hill I'd been walking rather than cycling as the hill was too much effort. It turns out the problem wasn't the hill, it wasn't even my legs, it was the bike! Whether it was gummy gears, something out of alignment or general neglect, whatever magic these mechanics worked on my bike I flew up the hill home. The BikeShed has made made me fall in love with cycling again! All the staff were super helpful and super friendly too just to top it all off.

I have not visited the store but i dealt directly with Seth who manages their online sales. Seth was super friendly, well informed and provided honest pragmatic advice regarding potential accessories, lead times etc. Also particularly impressed with the interaction, processing of c2w scheme and the speedy delivery.100% recommend.

Verily, I ventured to the Bike Shed in Exeter, and though my heart was not burdened with disappointment, mine eyes beheld a sight of sameness. A multitude of identical bicycles graced the shop, and though the merchant's words claimed that some were powered by the electric sorcery, the mere addition of a battery on the rear failed to bestow a sense of style.Alas, the cargo steeds, which I sought to glimpse, remained elusive, as if concealed in the mists of Avalon. The delivery bikes, like fleeting phantoms, refused to manifest. Furthermore, a lamentable absence of such marvels as the Super 73, a beacon of innovation in the world of two-wheeled contraptions, did persist within this emporium.'Tis a tragic truth, for it is written in the annals of commerce that stagnation begets obsolescence. The reluctance to evolve, to embrace new designs and ideas, doth portend the fate of a dinosaur, destined to be fossilized in the annals of history. Mayhaps a brighter path lies ahead, where British companies shall rise like a phoenix, soaring on the wings of innovation. Now, are you fit for the task and have a room full of bikes that people want you should not have a room full of bikes because they should be selling out so quick that it should be empty

Disappointed.I was happy to wait the two weeks for my son's bike to be serviced and for it to receive a replacement crank / pedal.I returned to the shop to pick up the bike only to be told that they were unable to provide the service that was 'no problem' when it was dropped in.The loss of two weeks has now prevented the bike being ready for the event it was being serviced for.Absolutely no communication during the drop off and pick up, just an awkward 'sorry' at the collection desk.Poor.

I paid a visit to The BikeShed after a long trip from up'north and realising I'd forgotten my cycling shoes. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Sorted me a new pair of shoes and fitted the cleats. The shop is extensive, everything you'd need to get you rolling.

A wheel fell off of our pram and, in a total panic, we rang the Bike Shed to see if there was any hope of repairing it (where do you go to repair a pram?) The Bike Shed team were absolutely brilliant and in the space of 15 minutes, our problem was solved. Literally no problem too small. Excellent service.

Top service. Moved a bike down from Barnstaple to Exeter for me to try for size. Test ride at outta town store. Set MTB up for my weight and size. Absolutely cannot fault the service. Special shout out to Josh for doing all the bike movements, advice and set up. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Can't recommend enough.

Great experience at the Bike Shed. Me and a couple of mates were on a bike trip from Penzance to London and had stayed in Exeter overnight. In the morning before setting off, I realised that the front brake was rubbing against the disc so went to The Bike Shed to get it fixed. Unfortunately, I didn't get the guys name that helped but he sorted it out super quickly and didn't charge me for it. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Great staff and very generous gesture!
