i have played here a fair few times recently. its a nice course. a little bit sloppy here and there. the thing i love the most is the lay out of the 18 holes. there is a par 5 that someone made a hole in one on. love that. will be an interesting club to keep an eye on as its converting to a 12 hole approach course this year or maybe next. who knows woth planning construction etc .. i would recommend getting a round soon if you haven't played it yet. as it won't be here for much longer. i have added a photo from the tee of the par 5 hole in one

Lovely course. Back 9 flater then the front. Staff are all very polite and and helpful.

course was nice but what made it was the staff, the gent at reception was extremely helpful and friendly and so was the lady in the bar area. She mistakenly overcharged me but admitted straight away and was very quick in sorting the refund which in many other places would not have been admitted at all. Thank you to both of you for your wonderful service :)

Some nice holes,great views,tee boxes very poor,greens pretty poor.Would I come back again,probably not,would I recommend to others probably not.Even a couple of members I spoke to were quite disappointed in the current condition,Glad it only cost me £20.

Wife and I had an enjoyable game in this beautiful and friendly course. The staff were very friendly as stated in many reviews. Dave in particular was very kind by putting together a few clubs for us (charging me only a nominal £10!) He just wanted to facilitate our play. (Thanks Dave!) Green fees were also very reasonable. There are a couple of blind spots and greens that are precariously close to the next t box, so be careful.

First class service and food at the Devon Women in Business Networking Brunch yesterday.Nothing was too much trouble for Kristi and the team. Nearly 30 women had a great time and enjoyed the views over the course.As the course was closed, we were treated to visits from the local deer and pheasant populations too!Super location and venue. Highly recommended!

Under the new management.things seem to be getting better..course is in an amazing condition. Greenkeepers and the staff are doing great things at the valley.Keep it up

After a forced absence from playing any golf for nearly 5 years, I wanted (needed) to get back out there and play!I searched for a local course and found this little gem!I had the pleasure of playing here yesterday and wow, what a great course!Although playing off winter tee's, the course was in remarkable condition throughout, with the greens running quite quick for the time of year.As others reviews have said, it has a lovely mix of holes with some inviting wide fairways where you just want to let rip with your driver and some tighter holes where you just want to be able to find the fairway!All this set in some beautiful countryside.The staff were very approachable and friendly, as were all the members that I spoke with before, during and after my round, and I felt very welcomed.I will certainly be playing here again, as soon as I manage to get another day off!

My first time around the course and the front 9 is an interesting mix of holes, the second 9 is a different test mostly flat until the last 3 holes which could be card wreckers, The greens and fairways are in excellent condition but the Tee boxes are a little threadbare.Friendly staff and members make you feel very welcome and will definitely be back to play again.
