“Visiting the shop at 2pm proved quick and easy, just like my previous experience at 11am, both times pleasantly quiet. I highly recommend using the SmartShop to avoid queues; it's a real time-saver.

Bring a bag and skip the hassle of transferring items from a trolley to scales, then into a bag – it's much more efficient. The shop's recent initiative to price match Aldi is impressive.

However, a few shelves were empty, a testament to the Christmas rush. Notably, there was a complete lack of sparkling water. Despite the many discounted prices, the overall feeling is that prices have risen recently.

Random sometimes the self checkout is closed sometimes but you can just scan the other weigh areas.”

“You really need a word with the two older ladies, working on the evening of November 5th at 9pm, in your Exeter store, Heavitree Road. Both were miserable and rude.

The plumpish lady with the short hair didn't even acknowledge me (and I'd been in twice that evening). She literally threw my groceries through the checkout and didn’t mutter a word to me. Not a single word!

My husband finds the same, as does my daughter. My daughter asks, "What is it with the rude older ladies in Waitrose? The younger staff are all so nice!".

I rarely visit these days as I find them so rude and miserable.

This is really bad and unacceptable.

The store has been going downhill recently, and I've noticed a huge drop in quality. It is now very expensive to what it was. I've shopped here years, online and instore.

The other month, I literally gasped at the receipt - £40 for two bags of "not very much." I even had the receipt rechecked as I couldn't believe it.

I now shop elsewhere, including M&S, much more frequently. The staff there are far more pleasant, and the quality is top notch.”

“This store always seems very well stocked plus there's always a member of staff around. They seem to work hard at this store. Don.
't have to worry about the queues as an extra till is always available.
It's great. They've got the self-service checkouts in there now. Does save a lot of time and hassle?Trying to queue with just a few items.
On some days I go in the day the new specials are out, they are always well stocked and neatly presented.”

“First class service from a lady called Emma. She was on duty at the 'self check out' area and even at 5 minutes before closing she had the patience, kindness empathy and caring attitude necessary to cope with somebody (me) who has a great dislike for the self-service system. I was overloaded with shopping and struggled to get the Tesco Clubcard to be read by the machine. The young lady was patient and understanding and is definitely an ambassador for a company and a credit to those who employed her and trained her.Thank you Emma.”

“Iceland is just one of those places where the staff are helpful and it’s clean, good prices. The only downside is service can be a little slow. As they have little staff sometimes the checkout lines aren’t as fast as Waitrose.”

“A very busy store in the heart of Topsham after the expansion into the old drakes pub its greatly improved the range of fresh and tinned products staff aways friendly and work hard to keep the store stocked for visitors and the local community”

“What's there to say It's Iceland.Every Time I go in there The shelves are always stocked up.I have noticed that the home delivery is better in store than on the app.Only reason why it's a **** & not 5 is it can get very congested at the top of the first aisle. Once past that rest of the store is fine.”

“This is a standard size Sainsbury's where you can pretty get anything they offer. A few things like school uniform is back to online only as there is less demand now. Staff is friendly. Price point is Sainsbury's price point so bear in mind a notch higher than Tesco's. Let you be the judge whether this is justified. Nectar cards take money off bill now like the Tesco club card, unlike previously when they only issued points which would then transpire to vouchers.”

“This is a local shop with friendly staff. Handy if you require anything. A good supply of wines and spirits and frozen goods, the shop does get busy at times but the staff are always helpful and do their best to make sure that you have their knowledge of special offers etc.”

“A great convenience to Heavitree residents, with an experienced, long-term staff, the members of which are always helpful. Well managed and well maintained. A real anchor to what remains of Heavitree's Fore street.'”

“Staff are always very helpful nothings seems too much trouble happy atmosphere store is clean and welcoming my only gripe is Tescos could do a few more of their own brands to help people with the costs I know it’s a convenient store but it is used more like a supermarket and doesn’t all need to be high end merchandise in my opinion.”

“Extremely patient and friendly staff in a poindexter cookie-cutter department store. You would think corporate would put more thought into furnishing this place. Only other redeeming element of this store is the singing lady on the corner who should be on BGT.”

3.6Good32 Reviews

“Convenient, local store that is reasonably priced with a good range of quality food and essentials.
Become a member for weekly offers, discounts and Aldi price matches on the app. I also recommend using the app for their same day home delivery service in 1 to 2 hours (minimum £15 spend)
There is also an Amazon locker outside the store ?”

“Morrisons in Exeter is a great place to shop. It offers a wide variety of fresh produce, quality meats, and well-stocked shelves. The in-store bakery and deli are excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. For convenience, quality, and good service, Morrisons is a top choice.”

“Typical M&S food store, with convenient free parking. Pity M&S don't have these in any of the neighbouring villages (don't use the one in the petrol station in Honiton, as it's more expensive, the M&S card is not accepted, and some staff are rude)”

3.6Good10 Reviews

“Everything that I wanted I could get. But not every one wants the same so it’s a small Tesco express so it will hold day to day things but not everything. A good shop with great staff always makes you welcome.”

3.6Good9 Reviews

“This is a very handy shop for people who can't commute to the big Tesco. There is a wide range of goods available and customer service is admirable. I get my weekly shopping from here .”

“One of the best most amazing super shops I have ever been to. Staff are very nice especially the man who owns the shop he is extremely kind and friendly. They have everything you need for late night snacking and quite alot of main dishes and starters.”

“Firstly this store is always helpful and friendly and always happy to help if I cannot find anything (usually under my nose) even when the weather is horrid and grey or boiling hot, always a smile for the customers, especially my favorite lady Carole who never fails to have a little chat (without holding up the queue) and is a credit to the store. Thankyou staff”

“It's the earliest opening shop in town were you can get anything you need in your daily base needs. The staff is amazing and very helpful is well Sunday they work till late you have so many products to choose on in case you forgot something. Stop leaving bad reviews even with the new checkout barriers you have 6 self-service checkouts where you can serve your poor and lazy manners yourself.Be grateful that there is place were you can get your needed thinks...”

“Well done Co-op! They have been open throughout the recent extreme weather and the staff have been brilliant. This is always a very reliable little local shop and have a surprising range of stuff. The staff here have worked on their days off during an extremely busy time where people have been panic buying and they have run out of pretty much everything, but the staff are still polite and calm and have smiles on their faces. Couldn't praise them enough.”

“This is the smallest Sainsburys I've been in but they still have most essentials in there. I do wonder what the shop is like late at night though. I went in during the day, a quiet boxing day and they had two security guards, one on the door and one near the checkouts, then later hovering around near me maybe as I was in there a few minutes? Pretty much any alcohol in a bottle had security tags on and the cashier is secured behind more glass than at a post office to the extent I had trouble getting my hand in to swipe my gift card.”
