Recently bought some safety trainers from here. Wore them to work and straight away my colleagues noticed they didn't match. One is black and the other is a dark grey. Was only noticeable in the daylight so I didn't notice when I put them on in the morning.Took them back to the store after speaking to them on the phone but when I got there was told because I had worn them for a day there was nothing they could do. They could of told me this on the phone to save me a 30 min drive each way!Can safely say I will never buy anything from sports direct again.

Phoned Sports direct Rydon lane and spoke to Luke, I was looking for a last minute fancy dress T-shirt - Specifically a blue one with the superman logo. Luke went and found me a small and a medium and put them by the front door ready for me to collect the one that fitted. Top-service, I'll definitely shop here again.

Usual selection of sports goods.Reasonable pricing and variety of sizing.Helpful staff.Fairly quiet when I went in to buy sports clothing for my children.Easy to park. Local to Costa if you need a coffee too.

I asked for some shoes to try on upstairs in the running/football area. Colleague didn't speak to me. Just took the shoe. Came back with my size and left me. Bit odd as they were £120. I had to take to the till when I decided I didn't want them.

In my 47 years....the worst shopping experience I have ever had. No employees on the floor, walked to the front door to ask them to please get a shoe size for me.... As that is where they were all gathered having a chat. The guy just dropped the box on the floor next to my kid and walked off. An absolute joke. Bunch of kids running the store. Never again.

Such a shame, I visited this shop last week (08.03.2023) and made purchases of over £100 in total. In the past month I have visited this store several times and spent well over £400 in total, kitting my child out for secondary school sports equipment. I have now been issues with a £100 parking fine as two of the wheels of my Landrover were half over the white line, in an almost empty part of the car park. I parked the furthest away from the shops to park in an empty area as spaces are tight I did not want to cause an obstruction. I stopped for 1/2 hour and spent money in 2 shops. I shop here at least once a week and purchase a lot from many of the shops in this area. This is the reason shops will close as it is cheaper to shop online, with many companies offering free postage. I get that I was at fault to a degree, however the cost of the fine even at £60 if i pay it now, far exceeds the slight half a wheel over the white line offence. I know it is a private car parking control, but it reflects badly on the shops as we will not be returning to this area again. I have responded to the company who have issued the fine and offered what i feel is a proportionate amount to bring this matter to a close. Such a shame at this time of the "Cost of living crisis" to make excessive money for small errors and drive customers away for unreasonable charging.
