I am writing to express my mixed experiences with the delivery service provided by Royal Mail in Exeter. While I appreciate the positive and hardworking attitude of the sole staff member at the collection point, there are still significant issues that need to be addressed. It has been an ongoing issue that the delivery personnel do not ring the doorbell during deliveries, which often results in failed deliveries. The situation in Exeter is particularly frustrating, as all of us in the area are forced to crowd into a very small space with those distinctive red cards, trying to collect our parcels. The inconvenience is exacerbated by the fact that there is only one staff member available, and the collection point is open for two hours in the morning and another two hours in the afternoon on weekdays.I want to emphasize that the single staff member's positive attitude is commendable, and I appreciate her dedication in assisting customers, even though many of these issues could be easily avoided if the morning delivery personnel simply rang the doorbell.I strongly urge you to address the ongoing delivery issues and improve your delivery services in Exeter, as customers should not have to endure such inconveniences when dealing with a reputable postal service like Royal Mail.

To not judge everyone, your driver from st thomas area (taunton close street) is absolutley ignorant. I was whaiting for parcel today morning and all I got is message in my postbox about another date. No doorknocking no bell.I even cant contact with someone who help me find this person to collect my package.Well done

Shocking, expected a delivery yesterday that I paid for through vision express, it can fit through a letter box, also not signature required. I had a notification that it was inaccessible to deliver! How the hell do I recive post the rest of the days? Or is it sent by pigeon? Slightly confused. Also when tried to re arrange I was put on hold for 40 minutes and then rang once and cut off! I am even more annoyed I paid for next day and now won't see my parcel until Monday. Not happy ?

I am deeply disappointed with the service provided at the Royal Mail - Exeter Delivery Office. Not only have I been dealing with a delivery issue for the past week, but I have also received inconsistent information from the staff. The overall experience was extremely unprofessional, as the employees I interacted with were not only unhelpful but also outright rude, giving one-word answers and displaying a complete lack of interest in resolving my issue. It is unacceptable for a well-established organisation like Royal Mail to have such a poorly trained and discourteous staff, and I sincerely hope that immediate action is taken to improve the customer experience at this location.

The man behind the counter today had no interest whatsoever in being there. Gave him my card with the details on but it was too much trouble for him to even scan it and look at where my parcel was. Showed him both calling cards stating that delivery had been attempted twice and wanted to know if it would therefore be available for collection the next day, as stated on the card. He said no. Wasted journey, avoid if possible.

Unexpectedly closed today at 5.30pm, I wasted half an hour of my time. Two of the staff members are brilliant and lovely but one is horrible and rude and you also have to pay for parking at least 90p for up to 30 minutes if you go there between 8am till 6pm, trying to avoid paying parking is tricky because they might be closed - just like today!

Great customer service, always polite and helpful. However, annoyingly only open until 12pm on a Monday! Other opening hours are good, weekdays generally 8am - 6pm. Good location in town - easy to reach on foot. Always explain how things work if you are confused. Great overall.

As a self employed photographer I use Royal Mail to deliver professionally printedImages back to me for clients to collect,As I have had a sense of Goodwill and commercial sympathy for workers of the Royal Mail in the early days of their dispute, these continued lengthy strikes are now having an impact on my own Business with parcels getting lost / delayed with Lovely Christmas orders being canceled - Stop holding the General Public to Ransom over YOUR despite - I don?t have the luxury of a pay cheque each month actually I have to deliver a service and get paid !! Perhaps the postal workers could do their Job - if you?re so unhappy at Royal Mail then do as I did throughout Covid - Go to TESCO as a delivery driver, I recommended it, it?s a great firm to work for !!Take some advice from a 63 year old - sit around a table and come to a compromise, that?s the best you?re ever going to get, a compromise, as long as it takes, that?s how you reach a reasonable deal !!- But You already know that !! I have LOST ALL RESPECT FOR THE POSTAL STAFF - I almost wrote workers but corrected myself -Frustrated member of the public - NFA ,,
