My visit to Saunders in Newtown was a whirlwind of surprises and unbeatable deals. The spotlight shone on the fantastic offer of three tea towels for just £1, accompanied by the practical find of a robust potato masher for 99p. From quirky discoveries like a big bag of broken biscuits, paintbrushes and even microfibre hair towels, lightbulbs and aspirin, the corner shop's diverse offerings and budget-friendly prices prove it to be a true gem. I also left with a big bottle of Lambrini, sealing the deal on an enjoyable shopping spree. Cheers to unexpected treasures and simple joys in the most unexpected places! Also, Reece, what a legend!

A young , handsome man called Reece helped my grandfather find the ciggies. He's deaf and was very understanding with him.

Such a rude women in the shop ?serving? people. I walked in the door and she scowled at me straight away women with attitude clearly. Then rudely said she couldn?t take my parcel so I just walked out. Every where else does it! She?s just to lazy to do any work!

Classic "Open all hours" style traditional newsagents, but has everything from the papers to broken biscuits! As well as decent bread wine cheese etc. I haven't asked for a kitchen sink, because I reckon they would have one on sale round the back...
