Suites here have generously sized, updated baths, large bedrooms, comfortable beds, and freshly prepared full English breakfast, made by the owner, and served in a lovely dining room, overlooking the property. Rex, the working farm dog, accompanied me on a walk of the surrounding rural roads, where you may happen upon grazing sheep. You?ll need to use a map app to guide here; driving during daylight hours to the property is helpful.

A great place for a quiet holiday. Not too far away you can find the Ley Arms, a historic pub. Worth visiting, indeed.

We?ve just returned home from a weekend break at Lower Thornton Farm. We had a lovely two night stay. The room was specious. With a well appointed bath and shower. The views are beautiful and the location is very peaceful. Breakfast was nice and the owners dog was very friendly and came to our back door wanting us to play with him. We went to the Seven Stars in Kennford Friday night, food was really nice. The second night we went to the Ley Arms. Again the food was good, however, a little overpriced for some of the dishes and desserts. If you?re looking for somewhere with beautiful views set in a quiet location, I?d highly recommend this place. We shall return!!

The family atmosphere makes this stay all the more charming. The owners young farmdog brought his fetch toy to play and on top of that what a view. Breakfast was wonderful and the nearby pub and valley views made this stay perfect.

A very tranquil spot. The room was excellent as was the breakfast. The dogs were a most enjoyable distraction after a day out. Beware of the satnav finding the best way back at night. Some of the roads can be ? challenging ??

Absolutely amazing place. Owner was so lovely and made a effort to cater for my vegan requirements. The room was amazing and location is stunning. They have two beautiful playful dogs. I really want to visit again in the winter.
