Terrible experience! Never in my life have been treated like that. HSBC suspended my account with no explanation, just because they can. 4 months after and still nothing. They didn?t even bother to contact me, to tell me what?s going on. Awful phone costumer service and the branch unable to help as well. They don?t care how you will pay your bills or where your salary will be deposited. Imagine you work your whole life and HSBC decide one day to hold your money. Very stressful? Stay away of them!

After truly awful phone customer service I was told to go to branch. Huge queues no managers in (midday on a weekday) and waited 45 mins but still couldn't see anyone. Absolutely awful.

Brilliant customer service. A major retailer wrongly took £860 from my account and claimed the payment hadn't gone through (very stressful!) Jaime and Lily at the Exeter HSBC branch were excellent: professional, friendly and efficient and most importantly helped get the problem sorted and my money back same day. Very grateful to them both and reminds me why I continue to bank with HSBC after 15+years. Thank you.

Just opened an account here after a lousy experience at Lloyds. Staff are super professional and friendly, which is the main thing!!! The online process was pretty easy even though I apparently entered my address in two different formats and had to come in person to sort that out, and it was pretty easy again after that lol. Free wifi's always nice, too.

Went in to order a new card with my wife. Asked specifically not to make a mistake an order me a card as mine is fine.we have a joint account and today I received a new card..so even when I said please be careful and don't order me a replacement card they did and not my wife's. 30 mins on the phone to get this sorted is not ideal. I don't know what else I can say to make things clear other than what I did day. Very disappointed. All the staff are lovely in there but mistakes with banks during this current time is something you just don't want to happen and to be honest shouldn't happen

If it was possible I would give more stars! I have helped young people open a number of bank accounts and this bank is literally streets ahead in how it meets, greets and handles all aspects of its banking. Amazing! Such a great staff!

Always had great experience with the bank. Book an appointment so things go efficiently, staff is always polite and helpful. Banking is easy and secure, wish there was more interest on savings but good overall.
