I have been to GoApe at Haldon forest twice within the last 4 years. I really enjoy the experience and the thrill it gives being up in the trees and doing the obstacles courses. Me and my partner recently went back at the beginning of June. It?s a great place and lots of fun, but I do advise wearing clothes with padding as I have really injured my shoulder through doing it back in June to the point I?ve had to be signed off work and also do physiotherapy. I know they make people sign a waiver but I wish they would advise people to wear clothes with padding. But other than that I would recommend

Our first time here and it was a really enjoyable family day out - it definitely takes hours to complete, you need the entire day free! It's very physically tiring and although staff members do not stay with you for the entirety, you get a demonstration at the beginning and there are staff members at certain points of the course. Staff were really friendly and helpful.\\n\\nOnly downside was our 11 year old found some aspects too difficult, became scared and upset. There were no staff members around and because the forest is so huge and it being our first time here, it was difficult to navigate our way around or ask for help/advice.

Had a fun and thrilling time!Didn't have enough time to complete the third stage but by this point we were happy with what we had achieved and our legs were slightly jellyfied ? (don't look down if your not good with heights). Had a nice lunch at the café by the car park.Park could do with more toilets and facilities by the tree top area.Staff were experienced and available in the trees should kids suddenly freak and not have the courage to carry on, which also reassured me as an adult!Thank you to all the staff, keep up the good work.

Great day, easy parking. Full safety instructions given. The children had masses of fun in a lovely forest, a play area and a walk.

What an absolutely amazing experience. Worth every penny. Highly recommend. The staff were exceptional. Knowledgeable, kind, courteous and really helpful. It was so well organised. There were three of us aged 13, 52 and 63 but we were all treated equally and we felt like we were all children again! I said it was something I wanted to do once, but I will definitely be doing it again.

Really fun tree adventure! Parking outside the location is large, price is £6.00 and it was no surprise. Staff is lovely and always happy to help. The obstacle course was perfect for beginner- intermediate level and it was a lot of fun!

We did the Treetop Adventure with our 7 and 5 year old, having done this previously at another Go Ape site. Had a great time - we did three different courses of increasing difficulty which were challenging in parts, but our kids managed them just fine. Really friendly and helpful instructors, all felt safe and well run and the hour flew by.

My 15 years old daughter really wanted to go. I am terrified of heights. Despite my better judgement I booked. Kirsty our instructor did a grand job on reassuring me. Yes I completed all 5 adventures, my daughter was thrilled and had a great time. Absolutely exhausted, would I go again, not saying in case my daughter sees this review.

Visited here for the 3rd time today (first time for my partner who I was with). Despite being twice before, still a great adrenalin experience!! Dave did our introduction, and did a great job of it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a thrill.

I came here with my son for his birthday and left absolutely buzzing!! We didn?t really know what we were letting ourselves in for when we booked and were initially quite daunted by how high it all is. Our instructor Sam was just incredible - he was reassuring and encouraging and really made the whole experience amazing. He stayed with us a little longer as my son has autism so needed a some extra guidance. We had the most amazing (and thrilling, scary, nerve wracking and awesome) time and look forward to our next visit!

I had the best time at go ape, I was very nervous and anxious and our instructor Archie understood this completely, he was very nice and came round the courses with us and showed me how to do everything and I nearly completed them all with the help of Archie, he is a very very good instructor will definitely be coming again!

Well Go Ape at Haldon. 4th May 22 the 3rd time I?ve been here, but this one was special. The team went above and beyond for us as it was our sons birthday, and the site was closed but Mary and her team worked their magic came in on their days off and gave us the day that meant the world. Our youngest was really apprehensive about doing it as she was scared of heights but one of the team came up into the trees and helped her through it. Everyone involved had an amazing day and would be back here in a flash. Great fun and puts you out of your comfort zone in a safe controlled way. We highly recommend Go Ape at Haldon. Thank you very much.

Absolutely 5 Star Activity !!I took my 3 children with me, the two 16 year olds were able to go up around on there own but my 12 year old I had to go up and supervise! So be prepared!45ft up the trees, wobbly at times, some very scary moments for myself, definitely challenging, but totally amazing and glad I finished the course, my youngest son, once up there stopped worrying about it and absolutely loved it, he had no problems whizzing over the courses, my daughter was nervous but completed the whole course ( I didn't think she would, but with such amazing zip wires she couldn't wait to get to the next one). I was totally scared out of my mind but focused on the lady in the other group who was doing the course on her 70th birthday! And I finally stopped shaking once we finished the course 2 and a half hours later!!!!We had Connor as our instructor, who told us everything we needed to know and our minds felt boggled but once your up at that height in the trees it all kicks in and with the fear you don't forget what you've just been taught. BUT you are alone up there no instructors, yourself, your instructions and a whistle in your harness if you need to call for help, which we didn't. The instructors do walk around at the bottom but I didn't see them that often. All bridges across to trees were different from hoops, to moving bits of logs/steps, to wires, swings, zip wires, a tunnel to crawl through, sides and no side, it's been very well thought of.My children absolutely loved it and they all enjoyed there day out.Highly recommended by us all.
