Karen & the team have just finished re-doing all the flooring in our house (over a 3 year period) - we would not have returned to them again and again had they not provided a truly excellent service. Friendly, helpful, efficient, tidy - what more could you want?

Exeter Carpet Company put new carpets for me in my 3 bedrooms and a living room plus linos in the bathroom, kitchen and corridor. This is a local company established many years ago, run by a family, Karen and her husband Trevor and their son Dan. They also have 2 more employees. This is a local Devon company I would highly recommend to use. They are very experienced, provide good advice, their shop is stocked very well with good quality carpet, Karen is on hand to guide you through your choices and to book a fitting. They are very accommodating - we had a painter in the house before carpet fittings and Karen found us a date for fitting after painting was done. They are very busy, which means they are very good. They turned up on time, done the work in quite good time over 2 days. They cleaned after themselves, done good fitting, put extra cedar paper under lino in the corridor for no extra charge. They will also sort your doors as part of their fee if the carpet raises your floor, whereas other high street carpet companies will not do it. They will leave you with doors taken off their hinges and you will have to arrange for a carpenter to come and do it for you for extra fee, and it is hard to find trades people these days to be available when you want it. All our doors had to be adjusted. And when they were gone and we discovered one extra thing to do, Trevor was back next day (Sat!) to sort this for us. Exeter Carpet Company are very hard workers and build a good reputation over the years. They are also very friendly and understanding and explain everything clearly. And this is important, because when you change your carpet, you do it every 10-20 years so need guidance and extra help. I would highly recommend this firm and they deserve 5 stars. When i need to change my linos again, and carpets, i will be using them definitely again.

Exeter Carpet Company are the kind of company everyone hopes to find when they set out to look for a product or a service. If it's new or replacement flooring you are after in the Exeter catchment area then Exeter Carpet Company is the dream ticket. I have just had Amtico fitted throughout my entire flat and the results exceeded even my high hopes and expectations. Also, the entire process was considerably less disruptive than I had imagined, thanks to the skill and patience of the fitting team who minimized preparation and packing of stuff in every room.Coordinating it all is the marvellous Karen and, at all stages in the process, you are very much aware that this is a family-run business that gives you a level of exceptional customer service that is increasingly rare these days.

This firm is literally the mutt's nuts! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my flooring. Whether it's Amtico or Carpet, these guys are the BEST! Karen in the shop is very knowledgable on the products and the fitting guys are superb. Nothing is too much trouble and the finish is superb. I really can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you for all your hard work on this latest reno project! x

Exeter Carpet Company fitted new carpets in our new loft extension, landing and stairs. We're super pleased with the service - Karen spent plenty of time helping is choose the right carpet and the fitters did a top notch job fitting it. It looks great! Would happily recommend them and I'm sure we will be using them again in the future.

Not surprising these guys have got a 5 star rating. They ended up carpeting 2 very large rooms, and laying Kardean in four rooms. And I chopped and changed due to other suppliers not getting work done in time, and Karen was so helpful and patient, and when the work was eventually done, the standard was excellent. Good prices too. Look no further :-)

I would highly recommend this family fun company that have a huge range of options to choose from at all prices. Karen was so helpful in the shop and with Trevor everything was so efficient from measuring up to the excellent job of fitting carpet throughout my mum's house. Carpet is beautifully fitted by the friendly team and they obviously take pride in their work with everything left tidy. They really were such nice people to deal with, 100% reliable and we are thrilled with the carpet and will definitely use Exeter Carpets again. Sue and Lucinda
