“Really nice friendly staff and general layout of store is good, big range of products and the stock levels are always good when I've been in there, great community shop and other helpful services are available like parcel ? returns services, national lottery ??”

“This is a local shop with friendly staff. Handy if you require anything. A good supply of wines and spirits and frozen goods, the shop does get busy at times but the staff are always helpful and do their best to make sure that you have their knowledge of special offers etc.”
“A great convenience to Heavitree residents, with an experienced, long-term staff, the members of which are always helpful. Well managed and well maintained. A real anchor to what remains of Heavitree's Fore street.'”

“Staff are always very helpful nothings seems too much trouble happy atmosphere store is clean and welcoming my only gripe is Tescos could do a few more of their own brands to help people with the costs I know it’s a convenient store but it is used more like a supermarket and doesn’t all need to be high end merchandise in my opinion.”

“Cracking breakie purchased at Saunders, can't knock an exquisite all chicken Fray Bentos pie with a side of creamy Smash! Ignore the smell of dog food it really was a scintillating plate that one could and should die for! Will be back”
“Much better now as it’s been taken over by Morrisons. Friendly staff, very convenient. Only down side is the parking when some people clearly can not work out how to park in a manner to let other people park at the same time, ie parking across 2-3 parking spots”

“Thank you so much for my delivery today. Such a wonderful thing to be doing, especially in these uncertain times. Such friendly staff both on the phone & in person! Appreciate all your help & I’ll be in touch soon for another order.”
“Convenient, local store that is reasonably priced with a good range of quality food and essentials.
Become a member for weekly offers, discounts and Aldi price matches on the app. I also recommend using the app for their same day home delivery service in 1 to 2 hours (minimum £15 spend)
There is also an Amazon locker outside the store ?”
“My visit to Saunders in Newtown was a whirlwind of surprises and unbeatable deals. The spotlight shone on the fantastic offer of three tea towels for just £1, accompanied by the practical find of a robust potato masher for 99p. From quirky discoveries like a big bag of broken biscuits, paintbrushes and even microfibre hair towels, lightbulbs and aspirin, the corner shop's diverse offerings and budget-friendly prices prove it to be a true gem. I also left with a big bottle of Lambrini, sealing the deal on an enjoyable shopping spree. Cheers to unexpected treasures and simple joys in the most unexpected places! Also, Reece, what a legend!”

“Overall it's a good local store, a little pricey in some areas and cash withdrawals are a no go if you bank with the internet banks - high street banks only here. The staff are usually very personable and helpful.”

“My Dad and I visited this pub purely by chance after being in the area on our way to Exeter City FC to watch Blackpool. How lucky were we? A real lovely style pub, such a friendly warm welcome and a great pint! Great to have a friendly chat with the barman, who seemed genuinely interested in us as customers. The toilets were also clean and tidy, often a good sign. This is somewhere we’d both come back to again in the future. If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend this pub. Five stars!”
“Typical M&S food store, with convenient free parking. Pity M&S don't have these in any of the neighbouring villages (don't use the one in the petrol station in Honiton, as it's more expensive, the M&S card is not accepted, and some staff are rude)”

“This is the best shop in the UK hands down. Best staff, best prices, best products, best automatic door.
Staff is the living embodiment of discipline and professionalism.
I would drive 5 hours to go to this shop rather than endure a poor customer experience elsewhere. Shout out to the whole staff, with a special thank to the staff member with curly hair for being the absolute best. This comment was not written under duress.”

“First class service from a lady called Emma. She was on duty at the 'self check out' area and even at 5 minutes before closing she had the patience, kindness empathy and caring attitude necessary to cope with somebody (me) who has a great dislike for the self-service system. I was overloaded with shopping and struggled to get the Tesco Clubcard to be read by the machine. The young lady was patient and understanding and is definitely an ambassador for a company and a credit to those who employed her and trained her.Thank you Emma.”
