Very bad experience today, I took my son here to buy his shoes for his birthday tomorrow and he?s currently potty training, he said I need the toilet and you could see he was desperate. The lovely ladies asked their MALE manager who looked at us and nodded his head no to them with out any explanation, I understand adults can?t use the toilet there, but surely a little 2 year old clearly desperate to go and ended up wetting himself outside the shop. You?ve lost a loyal customer.

Poor selection of men?s shoes, poor customer service and awful handling of complaints regarding purchased shoes. Staff had little interest in address poor long term shoe comfort and just recommended thicker insoles or thicker socks.

We visited today and our teen was measured and fitted by Emma, who was polite, professional and a pleasure to deal with. After the purchase, we returned a few hours later with another teen and were served again by Emma. Thanks for a great service!

Have always bought from Clarks for years. Last year we hadf an issue with school shoes with sole separating at the front after a few months.
Clarks were very reluctant to take them back and exchange even though a couple of months old. In the end we had a credit note and bought a different style.
This year again, we bought £80 school shoes and within a month they have now started peeling on the heel separating from the heel block!
The quality of their shoes have nose dived. Im not sure where they are made although the quality of yesteryear has certainly disappeared.
The staff member we spoke to this time was pretty 'too much trouble' and felt like they were doing us a favour by responding to the defect issue.
Wont be buying from Clarks again, which is a shame after years of traditional great service and quality products.

I live in Exeter but I prefer to go to Exmouth to buy Clarks. I do not feel comfortable with the shop assisstants. They act very superiour as if the brand is too posh for me. They ask too many times if you need something as if they are checking you. I have been a Clarks fan for at least 1p years, but I do not feel comfortable with this branch. They really make me feel nervous.

Terrible service. Questioned about the use of a staff discount card . Went to exmouth store not a single question asked. A jobsworth who when the high street is completely dead will only have themselves to blame.

Took my 16 month old grandson for his second pair of shoes since starting to walk . The young girl fitting him was very sweet but did not seem to know how to fit shoes . There seems to be a real lack of training for the staff and they are all very young students. There didn?t seem to be anyone there with any real experience. This is very worrying as it is crucial that children wear correct fitting shoes. Shame on you Clark?s . The young girl tried to sell us shoes that were clearly not big enough . She tried to tell me that there was a thumbs width of growing room . There was not . I ended up doing the fitting and we had to go up a half size to what she was trying to sell us . She did agree that I was correct and that he did need the size 6. She really didn?t know what she was doing . From now on we will be buying a shoe measure online and fitting my grandsons shoes ourself. Parents beware. Do not trust the staff as they appear to have had little to no training.

Nice range. Random shoe sizing that I didn't figure out - Letters added after the number/show size... 5E does any know that this means also, showed 4D as a size.

Booked online for granddaughter feet sizing and purchase of new pair of school shoes for the new school term,
Booking made it so much easier as when we arrived it was very busy,
We were seen too pretty much straight away,
Good friendly service received
Can't beat a better shoe and a proper fit Inc width than Clarke's,
Dearer than the cheeper market competition but can't argue with product recieved,
Again would highly recommend
