On a miserable, rainy we stepped into this very welcoming Cafe Nero.
From the start to the finish, the service was absolutely superb.
The baristas working were absolutely lovely and a real pleasure to talk to.
I was recommended the luxury mice pie which was gorgeous and coupled with a perfect flat white. It was pretty difficult to choose from the stunning display of yummy cakes and desserts.
My husband had a very scrummy lemon drizzle cake with his flat white.
Even as we were leaving, the service (with lots of lovely smiles) was incredible.
I cannot rate this any higher and we will most definitely be going back again.

Decent coffee shop, quick service and clean toilets, also has some quieter upstairs seating.

Tired environment, filthy floor with large pieces of cake and crumbs everywhere. Sticky cluttered tables and stained upholstery on the chairs. Peeling paint from possible water damage above the food and drink service counter. All most unpleasant and unhygienic.
Considering there are so many coffee outlets around you would think they'd up their game.

Ordered a tea (with student discount), was a bit disappointed that the tea didn't come in a tea pot, but the mug it was in was quite large the size or bigger then the teapot would have been, so I can't really complain.I really didn't like the tea itself either, which was a big shame, but ultimately I came here for a place to revise, and the building itself is beautiful, the lighting is cozy, and the staff were lovely, especially as I was ordering at half 7!I really suggest using the app, as by ordering this tea, my next drink is free, so I might go for one of there fancier drinks, which I have heard great things about!

Always like a Chai Latte from Nero but didn't enjoy the blazing row a member of staff had with a customer in front of everyone at about 11.30am.
