Only given a star as required for review. But CES (Exeter) deserve zero stars. Stay clear. Booked a repair a week ahead. No show. Called to ask if on way, they said rebooked for the following week. No notice of the change of date had been given, and no apology was offered for the change or the lack of notice. The guy in the office tried to convince me the original appointment had just been a 'pencilling in' and not a fixed appointment. Which is nonsense. He was altogether very dismissive and outright rude and even hung up on me. Courteous Efficient Service? Nope.

Sold my lovely grandparents a rubbish washing machine which still contained a travel widget which bouncee around in it for 18 months! My poor Nan hobbled down the shop 3 times with her dodgy knee to try and get it resolved and they kept saying nothing was wrong. In the end they paid someone else to come and fix it which cost £80! Never again useless crooks, quick to take your money but no aftersales service! Xx

Very disappointing service. I took my coffee machine in for repair in November 2021, they couldn?t look at it for 3-4months, which I accepted. However, it?s now January 2023! and I?ve had absolutely no communication from them over the last 14 months. I called this week to get my machine back for repair somewhere else, but the lady I spoke to wasn?t really interested and didn?t apologies. Having picked it up today the manager did sort of apologies, but at the same time said my coffee machine wasn?t a priority for them.I didn?t feel at all valued as a customer and won?t be going back. Not recommended for repairs.

They can repair nearly anything electrical, which is a rare service and avoids unnecessary waste. Often busy but always do their best.

The shop is situated in Whipton Village.It is a little gem where you get bits for your Henry Hoover for example.They sell Electrical equipment,bulbs and much more.They deliver and can you do a service.

Should have seen the red flags when they failed to show up/contact to reschedule for an agreed delivery date. Was asked to pay upfront for a delivery and collection. They delivered the new oven, but decided on the day that they would instead remove the oven the following week, leaving it in our kitchen. When we tried to follow this up, they became sketchy and vague, then quickly progressing to outright nasty, using vulgar, mocking, and aggressive language and before hanging up. They've kept the money to date, we are now contacting trading standards and citizen's advice to resolve. Laughable that their name apparently stands for courteous efficient service - they failed on all 3. Have seen a common thread in previous reviews about language and attitude. Find someone else!

Very good very impressed by the guys who came and installed a new free standing fridge and freezer. The weather was awful they were soaked through but carried out the work with a smile and a great attitude! Thank you both very much ??

Great little Electric shop. Very good services. Always has the little things you need urgently.. Staff very helpful and the prices are not over the top. Worth a visit you will be surprised what they stock.
