Views when out on the course are beautiful and scenic.
The actual course is in terrible condition (they aren?t allowed to do anything with the fairways because of environmental concerns) probably a lot to do with the good summer we?ve had.
£49 green fee to play here in the condition the course is in is a problem.
We?ve played golf all over the UK and the 18th hole here is possibly the worst we?ve ever encountered.

Probably the friendliest club in Devon. Played today and was pleasantly taken back by how friendly everyone we encountered were. Members, Green staff, pro shop and bar were so friendly.
Great views, challenging track that was well explained in the pro shop. Shame my score wasn?t better but a great experience.

Played 11/07/25 and as much as the course, the facilities, and the majority of staff were absolutely perfect. Our group was met with a green keeper who can only be described as aggressive at best whilst he was at fault. He preceeded to threaten and attempt to intimidate us on the tee. His behaviour was shocking and unacceptable in my opinion. Apparently he took priority, not the paying customer, not something I've ever been aware of on any other course I've ever played.
Another part of the group was also met by someone on the course a possible member who felt it was his duty to question why the group was playing in a scramble match, again making people feel very unwelcome.
I don't believe this is a reflection on the club itself but definitely made our experience not as enjoyable as we all hoped.

What can I say, dawlish golf club.. absolutely enjoyable. Nice 80 to go round in aswell as my partner in 83. From tee to green cannot fault nothing, a difficult course but challenging in the wind, greeted very well by the pro shop staff, good value for money ?. And romany who served us is very pleasant and cannot do enough for you..
Please come here if you haven't been before you will not be disappointed.

Great club, just joined for this year because the staff are very friendly and helpful and the course dries out quickly which I think you need with all the rain we seem to have at the moment.

First time playing here, lovely views and challenging, held up very well considering the conditions. Friendly pro shop. Experience swiftly ruined by a club Staff. Ruined it by shouting about not using mats correctly and for trolley use when it was not clearly explained and no trolley trail. Same ?staff? Member Proceeded to put pressure on to play through even when speed of play was Reduced due to people being on greens on both sides. Stated multiple times he ?worked for the club? ? , ruined by one obnoxious member, wouldn?t say visitor friendly and lot nicer clubs in Devon without the egos.

Nice course and great views, if like me you manage to hit the ball onto the beach, be prepared to lose it ? Highly recommend.

9 of us played a round in heavy rain and wind. Would have been more fun to try this out in better conditions.

Big thank you to all staff and members for hosting the open competition today April 22nd 2023Special mention to home members Mark and Josh for their company and encouragementAlso special mention to the other competitors who took my ball from the middle of the 4th fairway whilst they were playing the adjacent hole the10th I think.Matters made worse as it was a medal and I had hit one of my best drives of the day.
