I can see that my review has been removed so I am once more going to bring awareness to the issue at hand. I was racially attacked by a woman who works there simply because of ID (im 30 btw). Not only did she call the police but humiliated me, pointed out I had no ID to the customers and proceeded to call the police. Bless the customers as they were in absolute shock and horror to what had just happened. I called their main office and complained, sent an email and STILL no apology. I live 30 STEPS away from the shop and due to this experience I can't even walk pass the shop without feeling anxious or sick. This happened 3rd July 2024.

Years ago this was a average shop with a good post office service at the back. Now they have got rid of the postal counters and the trained staff, put a single counter at the front that may or may not be open. This shop is an advert on how not to run a business.

My local shop for years and have great relationship with most of the staff. But today i wasnt allowed to owe 5p by one of the new staff. Just think its a bit sad that you refused a regular who has been coming in there for years a simple iou.

It's a Small Store with Lots of Food and Drinks and Other Items that you may need around in your house. And The Post Office at the Back. For all your Other Needs.
I've used both the Store bit and The Post Office and found it to be very good at what they do.
The price. Isnt too bad either, you can get good 2 for 1 around and find Offers that you don't find in Larger (Other Makes) Stores.
Keep a look out at the through the door flyers.

Newly refurbished. Good range of food and drink. Shame about the rude staff, smoking and swearing outside. This shop has the only Post Office in Dawlish.
