A great bistro and hotel, offering good quality rooms and servive. The food in the bistro is excellent, and the service is freindly and helpful. The hotel is located about 200m from the main Quay, and the town centre. I would recommend a stay here, and we look forward to our next stay there.

We spent 4 nights at this lovely hotel. The room was quiet and cosy and there was everything we needed. There was tea, coffee and any other drinks available and each morning the room was serviced . The breakfasts were varied and beautifully cooked.

The shower room was absolutely tiny and bedroom small too, so not worth £150 for classic. I'd suggest you contact them direct and request room with bath and shower. Otherwise a nice place with nice owners, breakfast & a little bar, but still prob more guesthouse than hotel.

Lovely, very well run hotel with superb staff. Our room was extremely comfortable with a comfy bed and everything we needed for our stay, although shampoo and conditioner would be very useful. The room was spotlessly clean apart from a little black mould in the shower which could easily be eradicated. Breakfast was lovely and the porridge is highly recommended. The location is perfect, it's only a short walk to the harbour and town, and the provision of a parking permit is extremely welcome. You may need to drive around the main car park a few times to await a space but it's very convenient.A lovely, friendly hotel with great food. Highly recommended!

This is a great place to stay in Dartmouth that offers modern comfortable rooms with a great breakfast. The evening menu food was great and there is a good choice of wines to complement your food. On the Wednesday night when we stayed they had a guitarist who played some great music and made a mid week night a highlight. The owners and staff were very helpful with everything we needed.

What a wonderful place Brown's is, we feel lucky to have discovered it! From a beautiful, clean and comfortable room to the delicious food (Best porridge ever!) it was a joy to stay here. The staff were super-helpful and very friendly and the location perfect. Very highly recommended!

We recently stayed at this lovely family run hotel right in the centre of Dartmouth and very close to the harbour. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful . The Bedroom and Bathroom were impeccably clean and the bed very comfortable. We had delicious breakfasts all cooked to order. However we did think it was a bit too expensive for what was on offer. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at Browns Hotel

All good with the room except hand rail coming off the wall and no ventilation as the windows was encased in louvres after market install. Ventilation in bathroom by opening windows on to court yard where others overview. We didn't eat due to no restaurant that evening. Breakfast was very good.Nearby activities: Ferries and National Trust Green bank estate for Agatha Christie home

2 lovely nights at Browns Hotel and also enjoyed the excellent restaurant. Everything clean and tidy, staff helpful and chatty.Perfect location with car parking all arranged for you at a nearby car park, easy.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this friendly hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean and we loved the cafetière for coffee, with spares outside if you wanted to make another pot - very thoughtful. Good shower and plenty of room to put clothes away, we also appreciated the comfortable bed. A welcome glass of Prosecco was a nice touch as well. We enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant which had a pleasant atmosphere - background music and gentle lighting. The public areas are comfortable and relaxed with an individual style and felt up to date. Our room (7, on the second floor) was bright with windows that opened wide and shutters for ventilation at night. All the staff were very friendly and efficient - breakfast was a pleasure with freshly made cooked food plus fruit and yogurt. It was busy in Regatta week but it always felt relaxing when we got back to Browns.
