Stayed here for the 1 night on business. Nice welcome on reception, rooms a little dated but clean and fully functional, the shower was nice and powerful though. Service in the restaurant was very good as was the food. Pleasant night sleep and a cooked to order breakfast the following morning to start the day.

The Chef is absolutely amazing, it was no trouble at all for my dear mum who has many allergies. No dairy, gluten or meat. He went out of his way more than once to make us feel welcome, accepted and not a problem at all. This does not happen often else where. We will definitely be coming back because the whole experience was just so lovely. Thank you for making our day that bit more special.

We were vising family in Honiton and booked this hotel. The reception was very good and friendly. Lunch was plentiful and diner was very well presented and delicious. Room very comfortable and quiet, breakfast was plentiful. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Really nice place to stay, and breakfast was a freshly sacrificed goat from a local pagan ceremony. They also have a piano, what's not to like.

A very friendly welcome, the staff were lovely. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was magnificent. A wide variety of options for gluten free on the evening menu. The only small criticism from me, was the general areas, lounge and dining room could have been a little warmer, plus the soap dispenser was too hard for me to operate, due to my arthritis.

This visit was a business trip for the Western Region Craft Bakers Association and in total there was 12 of us & most people we?re staying overnight, personally I didn?t think we were welcomed nicely , no mention of helping us with our luggage, the room was a good size but pretty basic and we couldn?t get the heating to work, when it came to twelve of us eating dinner together most of our party were very pleased with the food, just a couple who weren?t

We experienced an extremely warm welcome at Padbook Park when we stayed this weekend. My son and daughter in law were getting married at Upton Barn and sourced Padbrook for a local, affordable 2 night stay for most of their family and guests. Nothing was too much trouble from the minute we arrived. The room, a standard double was spacious and spotless, with loads of storage, an extremely comfortable bed and lovely roomy bathroom. We had breakfast both mornings and it was superb! Local bacon and sausages, full English (which was constantly being topped up) and pastries, toast, fruit and cereals - delicious, and certainly value for money too! We would definitely recommend a stay here, it's very central for Exeter and mid Devon. Could we also give a shout out to a local taxi firm recommended by Padbrook in their welcome email before we arrived - Exe Valley Taxis! Syd was fabulous in getting us back promptly and very reasonably after the wedding, we highly recommend him! :)

I visited this hotel as they were hosting a Nowzad event. Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. Very big conference room, staff were friendly. I didn't stay overnight but would definitely book a room if I attend another event here.

Stayed in the padbrook for 3 nights whilst attending a family wedding nearby. It was an excellent hotel the room was fantastic and all of the staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast is good and will set you up for the day, with a great selection of meals on the evening, there was 20 of us in our party and everyone was happy with their meals.If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely visit again.

Met a friend for lunch, excellent location and plenty of parking. Jane, our waitress was just lovely...will definitely visit again for lunch before Xmas...Food & drinks: Lunchtime menu £14.99 for 2 courses...excellent....bread & butter pudding was so yummy
