Popped in for fuel only, but had a quick look around, ideal local shop, with plenty of choice, typical Spar. Not as cheap as the big stores but convenient.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there is plenty of food, soft and alcohol drinks, cakes, crisps, cigarettes, etc.Plus, you also have outside the forecourt for petrol and diesel, a flower stand, gas bottles, kindling, etc, for open fires / log burners and a car repair garage.Personally, I often go there for fuel and shopping. it's so convenient and the staff are very supportive, especially if you're disabled.

The owner has no idea about the cost of living in a rural community...they have now brought in people to beg for donations for great ormand street knowing full well this is a caring community the sooner they sell up the better ...They are the absolute pitts they live in Plymouth and they don't live in the real world

I love my local Spar. It has some great bargains sometimes and the prices are generally good. Local produce is sold alongside the usual fare and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I purchased badly contaminated petrol from here and despite writing a letter and about 10 phone calls the owner will not even contact me to discuss it. Very disappointed with the service. Cost a lot of money to put this right.

I was filling my tank up at Lapford today (29-12-18) and I was watching the numbers on how much I was putting in and the price until I smelt petrol and I saw petrol was leaking everywhere. The pump didn't click telling me my tank is full. Has anyone else had an issue with that? If so, that is very dangerous. This was at pump number 4.

They miscalculate often as between the barcode price and displayed price don't match. I have experienced many different local spar, not just in Lapford. I think it would be better they can change something with it.
The last time when I ask for checking the price again as the price is different with what I saw it. The lady at the counter said "I don't think it is" and asked other staff there to check instead of her. I was right and she just said "Ã?Ã?pounds then".
I know it isn't her fault but at least she could just check, and not apologising at all and being rude.
