We went last weekend to get advice about a pond filtration system for a new duck pond. We were assisted by Rachel, who was very knowledgeable and absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond giving excellent help and advice. Nothing was too much trouble, she showed us how the system worked and how to maintain it.Can't recommend highly enough!

This really has to be the worst post office in Devon. Better to go to Crediton as service is much more professional and quicker too.

I phoned to check availability of a particular water feature. I spoke to a v helpful guy and said I would buy and collect the following day, which I did. It was heavy and two lovely staff brought it to my car and loaded it into the car boot. The following day my landscapers were going to set it up. Unfortunately there was a crack on one element of the product. Another phone call which went well. A replacement wasn?t available but we agreed I would accept the part from the display water feature as this was the only timely way to set up the feature whilst my contractors were on site. I visited to do the swap and again encountered excellent customer service. I stayed for a coffee in the cafe and experienced the same level of excellent service. Well done everyone. You seem to be a well trained, knowledgeable and friendly team.

I am sure the garden centre itself is absolutely fine. However I visited solely to look to buy a selection of marine corals for my reef tank. what an absolute disappointment . whilst the marine fish look OK, although the tanks look a bit uncared for the coral tank is just dire. I have been keeping marines for over 30 years and anyone who keeps a tank like this should be ashamed, let alone someone who expects to sell the inhabitants for were top prices. There was a lot of rock that probably had some life on it long ago and a sad selection of softies that looked in very poor condition and overpriced for what they were. The best thing they could do would be to sell off what is still alive, sort out the water quality and re-stock, or just pack up. Why waste my time driving to look at a sad unhealthy collection. Give it up or pick it up, apart from anything else it isn't fair to the animals in their care. The hobby doesn't need these people. Steve

A big thankyou to Mark the fish guy. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Full of good advice. The fish tanks all look clean, the fish all look healthy. Not one dead fish in any of the tanks. Well done Mark we will be back again in the future for more fish.The cafe is great, reasonable prices, great coffee and friendly staff.I would recommend Bow garden centre to anyone. I live in Ilfracombe and it's a good 45 mins drive but honestly it's well worth it. I like the way the garden centre is laid out.So thanks again Mark and well done Bow garden center.Mike

The people that run the aquarium side of things havint got a clue what there talking about very poor customer service in wanted help with a simple tank cycle question been keeping fish for 30 years and these don't even no the basics was very rude and intruding the marine side all the fish are dying and look sick the hole place is disgusting for a little shop with only couple tanks it's shoukd be alot cleaning.

Nice garden centre, not as large as we are used to. Enjoyable and relaxing to walk around with lots of water features.

First time here. Was a nice little mooch around. I am very impressed with the fish and also how the plants are labled alphabetically.Didn't try the restaurant, maybe next time.

Love coming here, been a few times, and will happily revisit again. We always visit the cafe and I booked in advance for fathers Day. Was easy to call and book a table, and when we arrived , we were quickly greeted and shown to our table. Our server was brilliant, regularly checking everything was ok and if we wanted anything else. All the food was delicious and really well made.The shop itself is great, lots to look at and really reasonable prices and the staff there are also super friendly and happy to help with anything.

Lovely setting for a drink when needed on a motorbike ride. Crafty look around so I know what to buy when we go back with the car. ? Lovely selection of all sorts as well as the plants.

Restaurant is excellent, good delicious and well prices. Staff friendly and helpful, space to dine indoors or out. Great choice of plants and aquatics. Aquariums and exotic fish. Well worth a visit!!

We have been coming here for breakfast for years. I love the food, but the prices have gone through the roof. I understand the inflation is high, but I feel that this is used an an excuse to increase prices unreasonably (I feel ripped off). This is mid-devon, not Salcombe!! It is very sad, but we won't be coming for breakfast any more, as I can't afford it in the current climate.
