Me and my family are currently on holiday in Devon and decided to go to The Tuckers? Arms for Sunday Dinner. We had to reserve due to the popularity of the place, and there being loads of bookings for meals. However, there was no trouble in getting a reservation.
The pub itself is a wonderful, intimate place with a great decor, lovely atmosphere and frequented by the locals who are very welcoming to holidaymakers. The management and staff were all really friendly and professional and we cannot praise the service enough. The food was fantastic with a great menu for Sunday Roasts and the staff told us what was available and what wasn?t (which we appreciate!).
Me being a tall chap, I did have to mind my head entering and walking round the inn, but I?m very pleased to have come here on my holiday! As are we all! Thank you everyone so much for your hospitality! We hope to come here again!

We ended up here by chancel, as the hotel we had booked and paid for via Booking informed us that they had been closed for months due to renovation. The spento us to the Tuckers Arms, as they were sure Booking wouldn't have helped us (by the way, they were right! Awful, unprofessional service). The Tuckers Arms is a beautiful ancient inn dating back to the 12th century, with many parts still original. It was like entering a dream, nestled in a cosy tiny village. The landlady is wonderful and friendly, and the food is simply excellwnt: traditional, hearty, savoury food. We left our hearts there. THANK YOU

Had a fantastic meal at Tucker's Arms in Dalwood yesterday. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and the service was excellent throughout our visit.
The standout dish was absolutely the belly pork - it was cooked to perfection with beautifully crispy crackling and tender, succulent meat that simply melted in the mouth. The flavors were exceptional and you could tell it had been prepared with real care and attention to detail.
The rest of the menu looked equally appealing and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the setting has that perfect countryside pub charm.
Would definitely recommend Tucker's Arms to anyone in the area - particularly if you're a fan of well-executed traditional dishes. The belly pork alone is worth the visit!
Will certainly be returning soon.

Awful service and had to argue and present evidnece for a refund. Had two smaill children too who and wwre quite upset. Soured a really nice day out on Seaton.

Sunday lunch was outstanding. Really generous portions, excellent quality ingredients, and every element was done to perfection. Also, the service was excellent, extremely friendly and also very professional. I'm usually quite difficult to please, but this was fantastic in every way

We booked rooms here for a work conference, but on arrival the team at The Tuckers Arms didn't have record of the booking (a problem at the booking.com end - NOT the team's fault). regardless, Kate and David managed to accommodate us without fuss - the last 2 available rooms were offered, including one in final stages of renovation, which was quickly cleaned and made ready. This was done with grace and speed (and many apologies), and also despite their lack of payment received from booking.com etc. Rooms spacious, light and comfortable. The food we ate that evening, and the following morning, was excellent. The atmosphere was great - it was a Wednesday night but the place was pretty full - clearly a decent reputation/following! I'd recommend to anyone.
