We had a wonderful weekend stay here, the hosts are so friendly and accommodating? I really felt as though I was staying with family. The breakfasts were superb, excellent choice, including veggie & vegan options? the fresh baked items were out of this world! The rooms were stylish and functional, offering everything you?d need and more. We loved the village and were made to feel at home by the locals. We look forward to visiting again soon.

We loved this little b&b.
- Great location: in the heart of a quaint little town, right next to a pub with a big garden, close to the coast
- Friendly hosts: made us feel welcome and at ease from start to finish
- Breakfast in the bakery downstairs: waking up to the smell of freshly baked pastries is an experience in itself!
- Comfortable & stylish: bed was comfortable, we loved the shabby-chic style of the place with lots of quirky knick-knacks
Needless to say, we?d love to come and stay again!

Went here for breakfast as we do when we are staying in the area. Colin and Sharon always make us feel welcome and the Breakfast is the best for value and quality anywhere. Well worth a visit

Incredible hosts, rooms, decor and breakfast. 10/10 would definitely stay again if in the area. Make sure to check out the roof of the Sistene Chapel in the dining room and the amazing wallpaper in the first floor toilet! Don't forget to take a treat for Radar the dog.

We had an amazing stay at the Bear Bread Bakery B&B! The place is lovely and quirky, really well located and the owners made us feel super welcome. Breakfast was also outstanding - perfect way to start the day!

I found the Bear Bread & Bakery on a booking site. I needed to get away, I was burnt out to f"£". I felt welcome & at home. The William Morris room is perfect, a writing desk by the window where I journaled, THE most conformable bed I have ever slept in.
The morning, which I don't do well was filled with chat from B&B ers & locals picking up their coffee, even I was happy to join in.
On my second night, I slept for 10 hours, so comfortable was the bed
The breakfast was generous to the point one does not need anything until supper.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bear Bread Bakery B&B! Breakfast in the bakery was the perfect way to start our day. Everything was delicious, especially the freshly baked croissant right out of the oven.
I highly recommend staying here. The pub next door is an excellent choice for dinner, and it's literally just a few steps away.

We have just returned from a weekend break at the Bear Bread Bakery and what a wonderful stay we had!Colin and Sharon were fantastic hosts. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and felt so welcome every morning when we went down for breakfast.The food was delicious and the coffee was perfect!I would highly recommend the Bear Bread Bakery and thank Colin and Sharon for making our weekend what it was.

Wonderful place, very convenient location in centre of Colyton, next to Kingfisher pub (yay!). Room and bathroom are comfortable, nice and warm with plenty of sunshine. Sharon and Colin are welcoming, relaxed and flexible. Breakfast is wonderful, apple and cinnamon danish is the best ever! Many thanks, will be back! Owen

Stumbled across this little gem for breakfast, the bucks rarebit was fresh and flavourful, the poached egg was one of the best ever.Had to take a couple of danish pastries away, they were also delicious. Clearly home made and baked with love.A wonderful place, will be back next time in the area!Thank you :)
