It saddens me to say but since they have changed to self serve coffee machines the quality of the coffee experience has significantly declined! I was waiting for an event at the Abbey so had lunch at the Grange. There was a good mix of hot food options, sweet things, crisps and drinks, and I opted for a cheese & onion pasty. While it did start to split open, it was on par with the ones I get back in Cornwall, with very tasty onions too.
We had a caverey on Sunday 27 th July 2025. The food was outstanding and the staff were very helpful and professional. In fact over the years . On every occasion we have visited. I can honestly say I have never been disappointed with the food at Buckfast Abbey.
