Nice location and good price. Facilities good and close to beach. Staff friendly and welcoming. Good parking. Some areas don't allow dogs including the beach in summer so takes awhile to find routes you're allowed on

Stunning location, cute little resort. Very clean but some aspects are just outdated. Bathrooms and hallways could do with modernizing. Pool is very small and basic.

Fantastic location with access to the beach via a 5 minute walk down a sand path through the dunes.
Also, it's only a 5-10 minute walk to the village centre.
The staff were all nice and friendly, with a good breakfast and good facilities too, with most of them free. There's also a surf hire shop on site.
We stayed in a hotel room on the ground floor, which was the only downside, due to the way sound travelled between rooms. We had an adjoining door to the next room, and we could hear most of what they said unless they spoke quietly, while we must have had a heffalump staying in the room above, as we could hear them stomping whenever they walked around the room!
Would we stay here again? Yes, but only if we got a lodge.

We had our first trip to Croyde Bay in June with our 20 month old son and it was absolutely brilliant! There was plenty to do on site for all the family to enjoy, the beach is a stones throw away and only a 10 minute walk into town!
The site was lovely and peaceful both during the day and the evening, staff were really helpful and polite, facilities nice and clean would absolutely suggest booking if you haven?t!

Wonderfully clean and well prepared cottage. Staff were helpful. The beach, amazing... this part of Devon is unbeatable for the beaches and UNISON croyde bay is nestled right next to one of the best of them.

AVOID! Decent location but that?s about the only good thing . The fire alarm went off at early hours of the morning - staff didn?t know what they were doing. Communication was shocking. There was a fire but we found out that the staff turned off the alarm as the alarm was activated from a room with a microwave so they assumed it would just be a false alarm!
Also - Not very clean - cockroaches seen by restraunt corridor near pool area . I wouldn?t go back.

Overall a great place to stay with quick access to the beach / town and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Lodges were nice but the biggest downside was definitely the beds as others have mentioned, uncomfortable springs. Beds could really do with an update.
Alcohol prices are a bit steep.
