Fabulous stop off on our way back to midlands. Has its own carpark, which was great for our motorbike/sidecar with all our kit on. Service was prompt and engaging - good menu choices and a few extra lunchtime specials. My husband reliably informs me that the apple crumble and custard was one of the best ?
Definately on our radar when we're passing that way again.

Had breakfast and lunch here and was welcomed by the staff who was the friendliest of staff Ive ever met.are meals was very good and plentiful and reasonable priced.sat outside for are meals in a lovely quiet area.

We found this cafe towards the end of our holiday for breakfast. First visit was 10/10 for food and service and we left our lovely waitress a decent tip because she paid extra attention to allergies. They also had an excellent choices for GF options.
However when we returned 2 days later it was the complete opposite. It was a different waitress who was rude & didn?t smile at all. It angers me why people like this are in the service industry if they can?t be polite & smile. When the food came out it looked completely different compared to previous. I said straight away it looks awful so it must be a different chef today. The waitress didn?t come over at all to ask if the food was ok or if we needed more drinks. Both breakfasts were inedible. When she came to take the plates away was when we complained. The eggs were inedible & so was majority of what was on the plates. The manager took one of the breakfasts off the bill & we appreciated the gesture. She also confirmed my suspicions that it was a different chef. What a shame because we commented on how the breakfast was the best we had the first time we visited. Second time around everything from food, service & atmosphere deserved zero. However as the first visit was so good I?ve not scored zero for anything. There should be consistency with food & service regardless of which chef is cooking the food. Not sure if we will visit again next year.

Stopped for a light lunch (cream tea) etc. Had to wait a while to be served but the food was very nice. Sat in the garden which was very attractive.

We were holidaying in Devon in a large party group of 35 bikers.
In advance of the weekend away we contacted the cafe to see if they could accommodate our large group.
Due to the size of our party we placed a pre order. On arrival we were met with the upmost professionalism and organisation. The staff came to our table and double checked our order, asked what drinks we wanted and allocated a table number.
Everything was served promptly to all tables and the café had a great atmosphere and plenty of garden space to enjoy the lovely sunshine.
Food was lovely ? I particularly enjoyed the corned beef hash, very tasty!
Well done to all the staff at the location and thank you for accommodating our large group.

Three of us had a fabulous experience today returning to this great cafe after many years. The food was excellent, the staff were all attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was great. We will not leave a revisit so long. A massive'Thank you' to all of you staff members who contributed to our great day.

We have been here in the past and have never been disappointed .
The fresh orange juice and lemonade was so refreshing. The staff were so happy to see us and were very helpful.
Nice choice of food , reasonably priced and very tasty.

2nd visit. Amazing food and service. Great menu , something for everyone. We had a small group reunion and chatted loads. The staff were so patient and we did not feel hurried or that we were a nuisance at all. Thank you for making our reunion so memorable.
