My wife has been trying to collect her meds from this place for the past two days ,it's always closed ,no notice on the door or change to their opening hours on the website .Two wasted journeys ,on Saturday a member of staff came out and said they were closed due to staff shortages ( this place has always run with the minimum of staff ) ,his manner was aggressive and rude. The shop usually looks like a tip ,unclean ( probably unsafe), things held together with sticky tape and empty shelves .When I was a customer there they regularly lost my prescription and messed me about . At the beginning of Covid the pharmacist told me Covid was no more than a bad cold ! After being treated like this I moved to one of the online pharmacies ,no problems at all , my wife will be doing the same .
All I can say to anyone thinking about being a customer at Well Pharmacy DON'T BOTHER ,very unprofessional and it looks like they are closing for good anyway .

I went to Well after Jhoots couldn't do my prescription last week. Although it was very busy, probably due to Jhoots and it was clear they were stretched, the staff were very helpful and fast. Lucy was exceptionally helpful and very friendly and got my meds sorted quickly. She also has gorgeous hair! ?

Been with this pharmacy for a few months now and picking up prescriptions weekly and i couldn?t rate them higher (unfortunately). every member of staff i?ve met has been extremely helpful and kind even when there?s a staff shortage or mistake, they take the time to do whatever they can to assist. With over 5 years and 3 different pharmacies in the area, Well have honestly been the most competent and caring staff i?ve encountered. Thank you for your help!

I cannot believe how badly my client has been treated. Three times have been let down after promising to deliver medication. My client is house bound and relys on medication that helps her to keep breathing. I'm a carer and constantly ringing and having to go in and no apology is disgusting. Yet we are not aloud to get upset or angry at them for being incompetent and not having the courtesy to ring and let the client know they are unable to deliver. Can't inform customers if they can't get the medication and puts them in a state of panic .If it wasn't for carers having to phone around other chemists for the same medication where would they be. It's not a doctor or pharmacy problem but the customers. Absolutely disgusting

I have been a customer at well pharmacy for around a year as they manage my regular prescriptions. The girls work so SO hard and deserve more credit than they receive for this! They are always more than happy to help with any issues and go above and beyond what you would expect at a pharmacy. They work extremely hard to ensure people get their medication working long hard hours! I've had issues with my prescriptions before at the doctor's and the girls at well always help where they can in getting these problems resolved. I've never personally had an issue and I have to say they always have my medication ready in a timely manner. Their not always treated very nicely which is sad because they really do try! :( x

Wouldn?t let me buy co-codamol because I bought some 4 months ago!! Very rude and unprofessional service. There?s no law about taking co-codamol twice in 4 months especially when the dr recommended I buy some. You need to help your customers not make them suffer.

Absolutely useless, most of the time they close before Midday despite advertising being open till 1730hrs, more often than not they haven't got any of the prescription items that have been ordered, then just try to put the blame on the customer.... i only use this pharmacy because boots is closed and this is the only one that isn't a massive way out of my way.

As a regular user of this pharmacy I?ve watched it go from fine to awful to worse to acceptable. Now they?re acceptable, within the parameters of every other pharmacy in the UK (which is not good) but the worst thing is the amazing oscillating lunch hour. Is it at 12pm? 2pm? Or maybe 1.30pm? The only way you can find out is by coming to the front of the actual premises. They don?t publicise it on their website because that wouldn?t make any sense would it. Plan to avoid the lunch hour - too bad if you?re working that day I guess. Oh ?well?!
